Victoria Eileen Harwell Hallie Helgeson America Mafalda Thayer In August 2024, Minnesota mom Victoria Eileen Harwell was killed in a car accident after being struck by an intoxicated Ecuadoran national in north Minneapolis without a press conference or public statement from the mayor or governor. Hallie Helgeson, 18, born in St. Paul and raised in Montevideo, MN, was killed last yearalong with her 19-year-old boyfriend, Brady Heiling, while traveling in Wisconsin when they were struck head on by a drunk driver traveling the wrong way on the highway. The driver, according to DHS, was an intoxicated Honduran national in the country illegally. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged a detainer against Aristides Eli Orellana-Ramirez, an El Salvadoran national, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced. Orellana-Ramirez was charged with killing 16-year-old Bravlio Galeano Ayala and 18-year-old Samir Canales Molina. "Another tragic loss of life at the hands of a criminal illegal alien," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. "The two male victims were just 16 and 18 years old, both with a whole life ahead of them.
