OK, you're good then. Not that you care about my opinion/advice.

It was OK when a few people had them. Now it seems like 90% of men have beards.

Men that don’t like beards is because they can’t grow a nice full one…

I don't know, probably not a full beard, although maybe with enough time. I don't know how long it's supposed to take. I can't stand it if I get more than a day's growth.

I don't like them either... but I'm from the 70's.  Back then only gays had mustaches and only bald dudes grew beards. Now it's everyone.  Sorta like tattoos. Nobody used to have them, now everyone does. And ya know damn well if virtually nobody else did, they wouldn't either. It screams "What's the latest style?  Oh yeah, I'm hip."

Whatever. I don't have a beard, tattoos, and I sure as hell don't wear jewelry. To me that stuff looks scummy, but to each their own - no offense to Geeks who have all those things.

I never got the tattoo thing. Put some permanent ink on the body. No thanks.

Full beard for the last 20 years.  Shaved completely off 1 time in that span.

I can grow a full one but don’t like them for two reasons. 1. It itches and 2. I’m too damn handsome to have something covering my face.

I've always hated having facial hair but the past 5 years I've hated shaving more.  So now it's grow it out until it annoys me, shave, repeat.

I've never given a second's thought about another man's facial hair.

Prolly cause I'm not ghey.

Beards are a double edged sword. I hate shaving, so I grow it out. Then it gets unruly, so I trim it, but then I fock it up, so I shave it into something weird for a few days for giggles, shave it off completely afterwards, get tired of shaving, start growing it again... you get the point.

And then, all of a sudden, my facial hair decides to catch up with my age and everything goes white. Now if I grow one I look 10 years older.

First world problems.

I call BS. You've never seen another dude's beard and appreciated how good it looked or how tough it must be to keep it trimmed so nicely?

Maybe that's my problem. I hate shaving, but I also don't want to spend more time grooming than I would shaving.

I do a mid-November to mid-May beard. I've got the salt-and-pepper thing going (mostly salt at this point :(). It's actually harder for me to shave with the beard, because I have to do my neck under the beard and my cheeks above it.

I trim it once a week with a 3mm guard to keep it short. My wife hates when it gets too long, and so does your mom.

My beard starts in October & stays until I take the bike out of storage in the spring. I work outdoors so it keeps me warm🥰

Beards are awesome.  Shaving sucks.  I've had a beard for about 15 years now.  I think I only shaved it off once.

Yep...  I have had one for at least 35 years...

I have had co-workers ask why I have a beard...  I tell them "it helps hide the ugly"...

It really does.  It also keeps my face warm in the winter.  It's amazing how much heat hair can hold in.  You would never know until you shave or trim in the winter.

Solid point, although nothing comes to mind. I don't know if I've ever appreciated how good somebody's beard looked but I'm sure I've chuckled a time or two at somebody who clearly couldn't grow one but still refused to shave it off.

I've had some form of facial hair since I was in my late teens. Mustache, Goatee, beard...

I've had a full beard for about 30 years now. And the maintenance does take some time.

So much less to shave with a beard, worth it just for the razor savings.

I haven't used a razor in almost 20 years.  Even when I didn't have a beard I would just use the trimmers on my face.  Preferred some light scruff over clean shave.  Even now, I don't clean shave my neck, just use the trimmer.

Same here.  As soon as I could grow facial hair I had a goatee.  Wanted to look older.

I've had a beard for 5 years, ever since my hair grew back from chemo.  My head hair has very little gray, but my beard is salt and pepper (getting saltier every day).  Wife liked it when it grew in, and it is very little maintenance.  I use a 5mm guard to keep it short -- interestingly, my wife doesn't like it too short because it is scratchy, so I'm thinking of going up to a 6mm or 7mm guard.  I just take off the guard to do under the beard and cheeks, run it over my ears, and clip it away from my mouf.  I use that foil attachment on my lips to make them smooth, which all of your wives appreciate when I go down on them.  Whole thing takes 2 minutes, a few times a week.
