Hardcore troubadour 12,649 Posted February 11, 2018 It's fitting that in a year defined by anti-social behavior and the continuing downturn of the NFL the Eagles are Champs. It's actually perfect.
jerryskids 5,206 Posted February 11, 2018 I fully support an individual's right to either visit or NOT visit the White House. True, but... alternatively, you can be a part of the team that you worked with all year and visit the White House, or you can be a "look at me" special snowflake who thinks any of us gives a shiot about your SJW agenda as an NFL player.

Oh, I also fully support any negative consequences said individual will occur due to his special snowflake status. I think they're being petulant babies, but that's just my opinion. Im willing to bet their teammates dont care if Jenkins et al. visit the White House, so why should the fans?
5-Points 2,729 Posted February 11, 2018 Isn't it customary to get invited to something before you decline the invitation? Also, if Trump accomplishes nothing, other than putting an end to this stupid "tradition", he'll go down as a success in my book.
lickin_starfish 1,481 Posted February 11, 2018 I hope that by declining the invitation, Jenkins helps to eliminate the laws on the books that are oppressing black people.
tanatastic 2,061 Posted February 11, 2018 Like 80% of the league would decline, this isnt a surprise. How many declined in the obama years? 0?

Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted February 12, 2018 I killed more brain cells today than you have ever had in that tiny little haid of yours sweetie. You keep thinking that. If he does nothing else, then he is an abject failure. The visits (and no shows) mean nothing.
5-Points 2,729 Posted February 12, 2018 You keep thinking that. If he does nothing else, then he is an abject failure. The visits (and no shows) mean nothing. My point was that I think it's dumb to invite professional athletes to the WH for winning a championship. So if people don't want to go, whether they're ever invited or not, perhaps this could be the end of the whole stupid "tradition". Win/ Win Also sarcasm.
