Lots of community outreach and other feel good bullshitt in a police budget. It’s great place to hide the woke crap. Would have to see a breakdown to give the claim that it was increased to do police work any validity.

So the timeline starts with the fact that insurance companies want to raise rates. California tells them they can't raise rates. Insurance companies enter negotiations in which they explain how businesses work and that the wild fire risk is too great for them to maintain the rates. Insurance companies proceed to drop coverage. The state responds by doing nothing. The city of LA responds by cutting fire department budget. And the lefties would have us believe they are not incompetent. So they focked up covid. They focked up with these fires. They focked up inflation. They focked up the border. Why aren't they ashamed and willing to shut up for awhile? When you suck at everything, why do you keep wanting to talk?
