So perhaps Kimmel wasn’t fired after all: https://nypost.com/2025/09/20/us-news/jimmy-kimmel-and-disney-in-talks-to-bring-late-night-show-back/ Sounds like Disney is realizing what a disastrous move this was for them and is working hard to reach a “compromise”.

Trying to kill more Conservatives. Liberals have a violence problem - An armed man was arrested Friday afternoon outside of a stadium in Arizona, where a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk – who was shot and killed as he spoke at an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. – is scheduled to take place, law enforcement officials said. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) told CBS News in a statement that a man was "observed exhibiting suspicious behavior" at the NFL-sized State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Secret Service agents approached the man, who told agents that he was a member of law enforcement and was armed. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the man, identified as Joshua Runkles, was not a member of law enforcement. Runkles, 42, was booked into the Maricopa County Jail for impersonating a law enforcement officer and carrying a weapon into a prohibited place, officials said. Runkles has since been released on bond, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. "The U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement are investigating the circumstances as to why he was at the location," the USSS statement said.

Oh and check that out, a white guy was doing lawn service. Liberals told me that only illegals are willing to do that work.

I don't like that the head of the FCC put himself in the role of weighing in on what Kimmel said. I don't think the FCC should have that role because we all saw how it had been abused about 1000x worse by the Biden regime. Since they do have that power, and since Kimmel was one of the biggest advocates for that power being used against people he disagreed with, he and his advocates who were quiet when it was used against everyone else are hypocrites and can go fock themselves. Now that the shoe is on the other foot and the Dems and their cancel culture cheerleaders are all taking an opposite position to what they advocated for nine months ago, maybe we can finally get the knee-jerk censors from Team Satan on board with a bipartisan bill eliminating the role of the FCC to patrol speech. But they were such insufferable jerk a$$holes for many years, it wouldn't be so bad to make them feel the heat for more than a few days. I dunno. Whatever. Democrats are such worthless focking sh*t human beings. Now that they finally know what it's like, its nice to see some sense has been beaten into them and they're forced to take the right's position on something. I still thing its best to strike while the opportunity present. I'm fully aware from the last ten years that the left is full of sh*t with their newfound appreciation for the first amendment, its all crocodile tears with them. They really couldn't give a sh*t and they'll revert back to mass censorship the moment they are back in office. Instead of beating them with their own stick, no matter how much fun it is, its best for the country to throw the stick away. We know who the Dems are. The Dems were uniformly cheering on Gollum's censorship fanaticism when they possessed the ring. it's best us Frodos to throw the damn thing in the Mordor fires while we have it in our possession. Be the party of the country's best interest and strip the FCC of the power to regulate speech during this window while the Dems are willing to get on board. IMO Trump's FCC shouldn't use Biden tactics.

I didn't realize this was a banned 70s song. I thought thread was going to be a re-post of gutterboy's favorite grooming video featuring half naked trannies twerking their asses to stripper music in front of children from four years ago, with an "Its not going to suck itself" poster prominently on display behind them.

Imagine fighting against right wingers day in and day out, yet claiming to have voted for trump three times. Then imagine stalking somebody over and over screaming for attention and demanding that the person you are stalking converse with you. It is definitely unhinged behavior.

Thanks for confirming there was nothing wrong with the government asking Twitter to review tweets to take down but then not doing anything about it when they said no.

Gutter is a known liar right up there with Schochet.

If the FCC enacted on their threat, they'd be in court the next day and lose. Kimmel was fired because he sucked and this was a way out and make the government look like the bad guy.

it's interesting how a free market consists of other countries having tariffs on the US, but not the US having tariffs on them... or people coming from foreign countries to take jobs away from Americans. Interesting how Tim only wants the Us to play by these "free market" rules and thinks that the shiit other countries do would ever allow there to be a true free market.

Timhack just rolls right past this. Nothing to see here folks. He only votes for these takes by libtards.

You and @Dizkneelande are really embarrassing yourselves with these posts. A clear anti-Semite shows up spreading his ignorant drivel and rather than attack him the two of you attack me instead. Not that I care but you guys just look pathetic.

Remember reading a story about the same subject around 1993. It showed how IBM was laying off age 50+ US engineers, & replacing them with H-1B workers. If that wasn't a big enough kick in the nutz, they made them train their replacements and warned that if they didn't do a thorough job, they wouldn't give them a + reference.

I like you and think you are one of the better posters here. Me, I’m a total a-hole and don’t want to give an inch to these people. FCC rules in general require that local stations must broadcast in the public interest. Broadcasters do not have the full first amendment rights the rest of us have. Federal Communications Commission v. Pacifica Foundation, 438 U.S. 726 (1978), was a landmark decision of the United States Supreme Court that upheld the ability of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to regulate indecent content sent over the broadcast airwaves. Because of the pervasive nature of broadcasting, it has less First Amendment protection than other forms of communication. The F.C.C. was justified in concluding that Carlin's "Filthy Words" broadcast, though not obscene, was indecent, and subject to restriction. I am perfectly fine with the FCC applying pressure to broadcasters that are wholly partisan in what they serve the public.

Working backwards, after Coen was hired, I thought that same thing. If he was able to turn Mayfield into a good player, he should be able to do the same with Lawrence. In my keeper league, I was going to see if the Trevor Lawrence owner was going to be willing to trade him... to be fair, I was 100% confident he would. Then, I waited for the draft to see what the Jags were going to do. At the time, when they drafted Hunter (I thought they were moving up for Jeanty), I was still intrigued because of the hype around the kid. I was thinking that they were looking to basically try to recreate an Evans/Godwin situation. Honestly, I was all in. Then, I started doing some research and talking and that's when people I know chimed in about Hunter being a better DB than a WR. The Jags OLine was, at best, below average. They didn't address that. Their RB's were below average. Not sure they really addressed that. Brian Thomas was better with Mac Jones than Trevor Lawrence. I then tied that in to stuff I've heard previously, that Lawrence wasn't really "all-in" so to speak, on football. With all of that, everyone on Jacksonville went on my DND list and I never inquired about trading for Lawrence. Fast forward to pre-season, I thought that their kicker might be their best fantasy player... I actually have him in 3 of my 4 leagues. From there, working forward, with that premise. I did not watch Jacksonville's games because what's the point? They're just like the Browns. So I'm pretty much box score watching with them. I'll go with what you said as fact, and with that, I'll say this... I'm not surprised. I wouldn't be surprised at all of Thomas is following the lackadaisical tone of his QB. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's thinking, you know what, I'll just go out there and do what I do and not put myself in harms way for this bum [Lawrence]. I think Coen's system works in the NFL... I just think he needs a new QB, one who actually cares and doesn't suck. After that, I think both Thomas and Hunter could be quality NFL and fantasy, players. Based on the two weeks worth of information we have, if I'm Coen, I'm telling ownership/management, that I want a new starting QB in the offseason.
