Contest: How many seats will the R's pickup in the midterm?

11/4. From what I am seeing now there are still 10 undecided seats (9 House 1 Senate). So far the R's are +67 (61H 6S). That means these are the people still in it:

 

If it is under 70 BEG and Garcia win.

If it is 70-72 Reality and Colts win.

If it is over 72 Colts and Huge win.

Rules

To discourage alias voting, the guesser must have 100 posts.

 

Guess the number of net seats that the R's will pickup in the House and in the Senate. If you think D's will have net gains show it as a negative number.

 

Post a guess like "House +50 Senate +7"

 

Once someone picks a combination everyone else must pick a different combination. I will try to update it every few days. My post is official.

 

Two people can guess the same total as long as their House and Senate numbers are different. Example from above:

danknug + 53 + 8 + 61

bigblue.. + 54 + 7 + 61

 

 

Tiebreaker 1 is the number of gains in the House (if two are the same # off closest without going over).

Tiebreaker 2 is the number of gains in the Senate(if two are the same # off closest without going over).

 

So if it is 50 and 7 and a four people are 1 off

 

1st +50+6

2nd +50+8

3rd +49+7

4th +51+7

 

So +50+6 and +50+8 would each win one set. Both are one off of the House number (TB#1)

 

If you want to change your guess post it as a new post so it appears at the the bottom. Do not edit an old post or I will not see it. Note it as a change.
