Saint Elistan 106 Posted October 25, 2010 NFL Patriots (Bandwagon Fans / Shiesty Team) Steelers (Annoying Fans / More Rings than the 49ers) NBA Celtics (Lakers Fan) MLB Yankees (Bandwagon Fans / Win with Money) NCAA Texas A&M (Texas Fan) Hard to really "hate" a team though. If I could only pick one Team it would probably be the Celtics. I think I hate them the most.
CantTouchThis 23 Posted October 25, 2010 NFL- Pats: Liked them when they first won, but then they got really smug and started cheating and so on. I am a U of M fan and i dislike Tom Brady, and that is hard. MLB- Yankees: reasons obvious NHL- Penguins/Colorado: Because i am a Wings fan and it's in my blood, Crosby is my #1 most hated athlete right now. NBA- Actually, not really anyone. My Pistons have fallen off the map, it use to be Indiana back when that rivalry was relevant. I hate Bron, but i don't really hate the Heat yet. I like D-Wade and Bosh. NCAA- OSU: U of M fan. I also hate USC, i dislike Notre Dame but don't really hate them. Nascar- Everyone and anyone who watches. Watch F1 which is a real skill racing sport. Mungwater 597 Posted October 25, 2010 MLB: Yankees for their spending and outbidding for every free agent. NFL: Any team Favre is on NBA: Heat, but it has switched from the Lakers this season NHL: Red Wings, my Blackhawks finally figured that one out though NCAA Football: Don't really care, but I'm going to Texas A&M for my MBA, so if I had to choose one I guess it'd be UT.. But I could really care less NCAA BBall: I played for The Citadel and College of Charleston would always be a big game for us, but seriously, I don't really care. The tournament makes me like/hate different teams every year.

mobb_deep 920 Posted October 25, 2010 Never realized so many people hate the Lakers, haha. I just see them drawing huge crowds every city they play in. I must be blinded by homerism, and Kobe's huge ego.
JT 137 Posted October 25, 2010 NFL: dal - To the extent that I have not capitalized or spelled out the name of the "city" in non-business correspondence in over 20 years. A friend cruelly named their son that horrible word. I call him "Sport". NBA: Detroit - Their "Bad Boys" era did it for me. I wish them nothing but the cellar, where it appears they will be for some time to come. MLB: Yankees & Mets. I actually pity those that, due to the unfortunate circumstances of their birth, feel compelled to root for either. NCAA Football: The BCS. They may not technically qualify as a "team", but they have a greater impact on the future of your favorite squad than any opponent they'll face on the field. NCAA Basketball: Syracuse. Requires no explanation.

MDC 7,422 Posted October 26, 2010 MLB: Probably the Mets. I don't know why. They're just pathetic. But every year their fans come out of the gate beating their chests ... and every year their team seems to die like dogs by June. I admire the Braves so even though they're Philly rivals I can't say I hate them. And I don't really hate the Yankees either since we hardly ever see them. They don't bug me. MDC 7,422 Posted October 26, 2010 Weren't you all over the flyers thread when they were in the cup with the blackhawks? Nice bandwagoning doosh You're damn right it was bandwagoning because my hometown team was fighting for a championship. Otherwise, hockey is totally unwatchable and barely qualifies as a sport. Voltaire 5,316 Posted October 26, 2010 I don't hate anybody except the Yankees. And that's a lifetime steady low burn. Use to be I had a burning intense hatred of the 80s Celtics and '90s/early '00s Avalanche but that's long since faded. I don't even hate Ohio State football anymore. In cross-conference games, I root for all Big Ten teams.

Jetdoc 20 Posted October 26, 2010 NFL - Dallas Cowboys. Grew up a Jets fan, but while they were sucking I rooted for the AFC in the Superbowl (which meant Pittsburgh). NBA - Los Angeles Lakers. Too much history being a Houston Rockets fan when the Two Towers were competing against the Lakers. MLB - New York Yankees. As a Jets fan, you naturally are a Mets fan as well. NHL (if people still watch hockey)- New York Islanders. Bunch of pussies. The Debbils are the way to go if you live in Jersey. NCAAF - USC. As a Longhorn, USC personifies everything that the SEC isn't and the Big 12 doesn't want to be. I'm glad Texas didn't join the PAC. And if you follow soccer, neckcar, golf, tennis whatever and want to list those too, go for it - I don't like cocks in my mouth, so I don't have a hatred for anyone in those so-called sports.
