posty 2,296 Posted December 20, 2013 http://wtop.com/681/3528841/This-is-the-most-annoying-word-of-2013 POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - When it comes to phrases that annoy, it looks like it's "whatever" forever. Pollsters at Marist College in Poughkeepsie (poh-KIHP'-see), N.Y., found that Americans considered "whatever" to be the most annoying word or phrase in conversation for a fifth straight year. Thirty-eight percent of adults polled said "whatever" was most annoying in conversation, followed by "like" at 22 percent and "you know" at 18 percent. Bringing up the rear were "just sayin,"' and "obviously." The telephone poll of 1,173 adults living in the continental United States was conducted Dec. 3 through Dec. 5 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points. wiffleball 4,645 Posted December 21, 2013 (Anything) "Strong". Geebus, is this shiit played out. Really? Your town, company, organization, state, etc. endured a hardship and LIFE WENT THE FOCK ON??? (Granted, with millions of donations and tax dollars flowing in - because you're SO SELF RELIANT!) Wow. That really IS a miracle. Because God knows, Dresden, London, Okinawa, Indonesia just curled up in a ball and died. They don't even exist today. Shame really. But they weren't as "strong" as you. Yes, you really ARE "strong". And you have the telethons to prove it.

KSB2424 3,083 Posted December 22, 2013 # This but taking it a step further. Anytime a person uses twitter language or even text acronyms in actual verbiage. After hearing a joke, in person, I actually heard a person say "LOL" I can see you, we are in person, if you laugh out loud I can SEE YOU laughing, you don't say L.O.L. Or say Hashtag then a word; as if they are typing on Twitter. I want to hurt people after hearing this.
