KSB2424 3,083 Posted January 4, 2015 Seemed like a cool dude. I'm getting to the age where people I know are being diagnosed with cancer. A friend died and another diagnosed in 2014. Shiits really starting to hit home and piss me off. Fock Cancer

GobbleDog 816 Posted January 4, 2015 Never liked Stuart Scott.I remember once when he was interviewing John Madden.... "Yo, dog! What up with that team, holmes?" Eat cancer you classless fake gangster POS.
wiffleball 4,642 Posted January 4, 2015 was pretty tough listening to all his colleagues on ESPN today. Everybody seemed really broken up.

Eat cancer you classless fake gangster POS. Wow. I really didn't like him either but that's just wrong man. Reading twitter and the outpouring of affection on ESPN makes me guess he really was a well liked and seemingly nice guy.
wiffleball 4,642 Posted January 4, 2015 I don't know who the woman was on ESPN today that certain hosted the tribute show, maybe Hanna storm, I don't know. But she did a really good job considering she was on the verge of tears the entire time.
GobbleDog 816 Posted January 4, 2015 Wow. I really didn't like him either but that's just wrong man. Ok not cancer. Sickle cell anemia. Whatever, as long as he's not on tv anymore.
Bishop82 61 Posted January 4, 2015 He was one of the many reasons why I stopped watching ESPN years ago. But cancer sucks and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Mookz 1,287 Posted January 4, 2015 See now this wouldn't have provided much separation in the dead pool, as I imagine he would have been a given. RIP though
Artista 460 Posted January 4, 2015 Very sad. In his speech last year on the Espys... great words to live by: "When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live." SC Very emotional especially at the end when one daughter went up and gave him a big squeeze. He lived longer than he thought he would, just sucks it ended so very young with 2 teenage daughters.
wiffleball 4,642 Posted January 4, 2015 pretty sure any guy who has two teenage daughters probably welcomes death

Voltaire 4,560 Posted January 5, 2015 What, I can't be happy that he's gone? Y'all were happy when Osama Bin Laden died.?. That's not what happened. One of us took the time to cry publicly while everybody else was celebrating because he was upset that Obummer would likely get positive press coverage for it. He peed in the punch bowl, angrily popped all the balloons, and sulked the whole time.

The Moz 69 Posted January 5, 2015 Scott was one of the last of the SC anchors still there from the early / mid 90's -- the years when SC made it's rise to must watch TV for sports and was (still is the sports show everyone tries to copy) . He annoyed the fock out me but was one of those guys where you wanted him gone then when he was for a while you went "where did he go - I wish he would come back... " Much respect to Scott he was one fo the most Iconic sportscaster/Anchormen for my generation - love him or hate him - along with Berman and Vitale he was the most recognized person associated with SC.
