mobb_deep 920 Posted September 27, 2015 Update: Sprained MCL. Out 4-6 weeks. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13759862/ben-roethlisberger-pittsburgh-steelers-4-6-weeks-mcl-sprain Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee Sunday and will miss four to six weeks as he recovers, a team source has told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen. An MRI revealed the injury in the third quarter of a 12-6 win over the host St. Louis Rams did not include a tear of the ACL in the knee but did result in a bone bruise, the source said. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin did not provide specifics after the game but said the team will provide an update Monday. Pittsburgh was planning on Roethlisberger being out for six weeks, the team source told Mortensen.

mobb_deep 920 Posted September 27, 2015 Huge hit for Brown and all Pitt WR. Vick can't hit the broad side of a bus.
tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 27, 2015 A. Brown takes a hit while Bell rises big time.Don't think it affects Bell and it may even hurt him. I mean Bell was already at the top, how high can he go? Without Ben he won't get as many red zone trips.
fanfootballtn 33 Posted September 27, 2015 Ouch! It looked nasty almost like the RGIII injury.
fanfootballtn 33 Posted September 27, 2015 Don't think it affects Bell and it may even hurt him. I mean Bell was already at the top, how high can he go? Without Ben he won't get as many red zone trips. Bell will get more touches in and out of the backfield
IMMensaMind 462 Posted September 27, 2015 Three leagues. Brees in one. Berger in another. Luck in another. At least I have Brady where I have Luck.
OldMaid 2,133 Posted September 27, 2015 Vick looked like garbage in the preseason. I wouldn't rush out to pick him up. And to makes things even better for me... Cutler is my backup... also injured.
tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 27, 2015 Bell will get more touches in and out of the backfieldHe will get less touches when Vick can't convert as many first downs.
Kent 228 Posted September 27, 2015 Don't anyone kid yourselves. This hurts all Steeler players.
Gipaldo 8 Posted September 27, 2015 Just traded for Ben in one league, have A Brown in all three big money leagues. Huge blow Been a lot of injuries to key guys early this year

rrmcguire 36 Posted September 27, 2015 This is what I'm stuck with Tyrod Fitzpatrick Vick Carr Or try and trade Kelce, but don't really want to
brotherbock 349 Posted September 27, 2015 Brown in PPR will still be valuable. He doesn't make his living off of passes that are 40 yards in the air. He's a RAC guy, and Vick can hit that.
tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 27, 2015 This is what I'm stuck with Tyrod Fitzpatrick Vick Carr Or try and trade Kelce, but don't really want to Tyrod is a top 5 qb so far, your lucky to have him. Carr looking startable as well. Both are twice as good as Tannehill wich people slobber over every week.
IGotWorms 4,060 Posted September 27, 2015 Don't think it affects Bell and it may even hurt him. I mean Bell was already at the top, how high can he go? Without Ben he won't get as many red zone trips. This guy gets it. Bad for everyone
barber2309 26 Posted September 27, 2015 Brown in PPR will still be valuable. He doesn't make his living off of passes that are 40 yards in the air. He's a RAC guy, and Vick can hit that. Martavis is done before he ever got to hit the field. My qb is Ben and one of my bench players waiting to make an impact later this season was martavis. This season went to the dumps quickly after a promising start.
Frozenbeernuts 2,277 Posted September 28, 2015 Martavis is done before he ever got to hit the field. Yeah there goes my brilliant trade on a martavis buy low...
DaBeerz 88 Posted September 28, 2015 Waiting on MRi. Hopefully avoided acl. Likely month at least. They can take the hit. Brown still has value even with Vick, but yeah his stud numbers will take a hit, which sucks.
giraldi02 476 Posted September 28, 2015 I honestly don't see how there's any chance he plays again this season. That was one of the uglier lower leg injuries I've ever seen. He really is built like a fort if he isn't out until December or more

jerryskids 6,909 Posted September 28, 2015 Hopefully it is an MCL and not an ACL; the hit was lateral after all.
Flgatorguy87 160 Posted September 28, 2015 Yeah there goes my brilliant trade on a martavis buy low... I almost traded for him this past week but got cold feet at the last second. What did you give up?

Byrdman5 112 Posted September 28, 2015 Vick didn't look that bad In the preseason, but small sample size. He did connect with Bryant for a 63 yard bomb.
thePRO 78 Posted September 28, 2015 Bell comes back and gets 19 and now Ben is out. Of course this hurts Bell. Teams will load the box and make Vick beat them. Bell will still get solid points, but as someone above said, less redzone attempts.
BigD13 6 Posted September 28, 2015 Looks like an MCL sprain. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1181/ben-roethlisberger
