He posts here, which is weird since he has probably never heard of this site.

I don't think he is old; rather I think he is young, like early 20s tops. Not sure why I think that though...

Also I think he said he is from West Verginny.

Matt Groening based Comic Book Guy on Posty, and Posty has never seen it. :(

He's just never felt the need or desire to do so.

I always got the feeling he was some kind of engineer. Like civil maybe

Because he's completely lacking in people skills?

He was already an old-timer at thehuddle when I started posting there in '98 or so.

He seems to perk up when techie things are posted, and he's made comments in the past that seem to tilt toward knowing how stuff is built.

And he's been online since the day after Al Gore invented the Internet.

Am I the only one who remembers that he posted his picture?

I remember. Wasn't his wife in the pic? I remember doubting its legitimacy.

Also, he prefers baseball to football.

also, he acts like he's a baseball fan but won't acknowledge a very well balanced, well engineered baseball team when he sees one :ninja:

- posty was the first civilian to use the Internet

- "posting" was named after him

- his Dad was a mailman (i.e postman)

- he lives in Washington (and yes, still reads The Post)

- he made a fortune investing in 3M, selling all his shares in 1997 after the company's original patent for "post it" notes expired

- posty owns every Topps baseball card manufactured between 1978 and 1994

- to date, posty has contributed more alpha-numeric (i.e. text based) content to the Internet than any living (non-robot) being on the planet
