This is completely true, especially in our new selfie obsessed america. Heres how it works to me...If a first lady is wife to some old geezer who becomes president or just a generally codger like guy sort of like WBush, its ok for the wife to be "little old lady cute", like Laura was. But if its a guy relatively young like Obama, she needs to look good, like Michelle does. Trump is not a politician, hes a celebrity, so its assumed he will have a smoking hot wife. Now, this is not the norm since its only politicians that hold office, so its breaking newer ground.

I didn't see much of her until after he dropped out but Candy Carson seems like a very jovial person. That would be interesting in a First Lady.
