I was between TTBOM and Sux. Cruzer coming in third. I voted Sux as most all of TTBOM's choices are dependent on parents actually buying you more batteries and cake mixes and bb's. The Play-Doh is dry in a week so that's worthless and they won't replace it because you don't respect money which doesn't grow on trees and next time you'll know to keep the lid on it but there won't be a next time because your parents suck at life and are flat ass broke.

Sux's choices are playable no matter what. Good job Sux.

If tan would have gotten legos it would have been a clean sweep. Nintendo was my childhood, baseball, basketball and, bmx when the sun was out, Nintendo when the sun went down. Too much for anybody else to overcome. He-man, hot wheels, and super soaker are all just icing on the cake.

You were ten years old and thought Barbie was hot

Playing with your yo-yo cause that's all you got

Optimus Prime was the coolest Transformer to play

But nothing beat Evil Knievel's Cycle on Christmas Day

Sports in the house, NERF was the shiit

Bested only by that time you penetrated Teddy Bear' slit

This draft was a failure but don't blame me

I tried to bring something, vote KSB

Agreed but I would put KSB in third. I don't like "trading cards" as that is too generic IMO. Maybe because I am an old fart like Sux, but to get Tonka Trucks, Lincoln Logs, and Tinker Toys in the last three rounds are all steals.

How many Personal Messages has Sux sent out already asking for votes?

I'm setting the O/U at 5 and he hasn't even has a Coors Light yet.

In England, Clue is called Cluedo. I don't know why.

Also, there has to be some way to ruin this thread too. Think people! I'm hoping to vote at the last minute to force a tie.

The team with Stretch Armstrong is the winner.

The team with stretch Armstrong is a phag. "I pulled it. All day. I pulled it with a friend till it exploded and made a mess."

Umm folks. Nintendo is a game not a toy. Did y'all read the question of the pole?

You play WITH toys. You don't PLAY a toy.

Also!&@$!

Slinky sucked. Every round I thought "Slinky should be drafted". Then I rember that stupid toy. A. It never went down the stairs right and B. After maybe the third time it would get all tangled up where it wouldnt work. Waste of time and money. Worst toy ever. Gimmick.

Same with that paddle with a string and rubber ball. Dumb and no fun.

Now a Yo-Yo? A crassic. You could do tricks with that bad boy. Time waster and trick master. It's survived several generations. Prolly most underrated toy ever.

Totally agree with the slinky and paddle w/string and ball assessment. Never really got into the yo-yo. The string would get focked up on the cheap ones.

I had slinky typed in more than once. Then I thought to myself, slinky sucked.

The only fun I ever had with a slinky was the time I flushed it down the toilet and it overflowed. And I got my ass kicked when dad got home.

And we need to talk about the skateboard as a TOY.

Not so sure about that Sux. Are rollerblades "toys"? Ten Speeds? Four Wheelers?

I think the voters need to think long and hard here.

I'll be straight up...I didn't put much thought into the definition of toy. I just went with the list that I'd have gone with when I was 10 or so.

TBBOM in a landslide. Now, of course, voting is subjective. Am I looking for coolest toys? most popular? most revolutionary toys? toys that hold special value to me, the voter?

I think first I'm looking at revolutonary stuff and popularity. If a toy was a fad that had big time hype but then died off, it loses value, imho. And if your toy is not really a toy but rather something kids came up with... (paper airplane, mud pie) i've more or less DQ'd you.... Tommy G.

TBBOM had Lego's. Insanely popular and revolutionary. Would have been my number 1 overall pick. I still remember all the set of Lego's I had when I was a kid and it was tons of fun building the designs they gave you. I took more pleasure in replicating those than creating my own. The space sets were proably my favorite. The little lego men were sweet with their helmets and dark visors. ..... then you go to another kids staple, Play Dough. This 1-2 punch is like having Tomlinson and Faulk together in their primes. My mother teaches pre-K and Play Dough is still a staple toy. When she does baby science stuff, she teaches them how to make Play Dough. Remote Control car is the flashy WR here. Not only was it a great toy but you had the big, outdoor RC cars, the little indoor ones and I would argue that this led to RC planes and eventually what we now know as recreational drones. Trading cards is kind of a cop out. Not sure I consider it a toy but if board games count, I guess trading cards have to count. Its a little vague though. Are we talking Magic the Gathering? Pokemon cards? Sports cards? All of it? Im surprised some sort of card game or general trading cards didn't go earlier so i'll consider it a steal. All these positives are enough to overlook to huge reach for Easy Bake Oven in round 2.

Cruzer is probably my runner up. If you're going to go with a video game system, I can see the argument for Nintendo but I think i'll take Atari for revolutionary purposes. I still remember my father letting me play with his Atari when I was old enough (pitfall Harry, pong, etc). Hoola-Hoop while ghey, is still a classic, basic toy that kids play with today. If you're going to drft a board game, Monopoly is the one to have. Stands the test of time, turned into a McDonalds promotion. Has had so many variations (i remember getting a golf themed one for x-mas one year).

KSB ill give #3. Barbie was a softball. Transformers, while cool, was a redundant pick in the "action figure/ doll category"..... and further, Transformers over Ghost Busters? Ninja Turtles? negative. Dropped the ball with that 2nd rounder. Yo-Yo is a decent pick but unlike Hoola-Hoop, really hasn't stood the test of time. Who the hell plays with Yo-Yo's anymore? At least hoops you'll see in grade school gyms and summer camps. Honestly, KSB had a lot of bad picks but the pick that saved his draft and gave him the bronze medal was NERF balls. I think he should have just drafted NERF in general but NERF is a classic example of a revolutionary toy. Sports inside! and it evolved into longest flying footballs etc. Hell, when we rent our condo in ocean city, we always have a Nerf football on the beach. If you count Nerf guns you've got Cam Newton circa 2015. Teddy Bear was also a really solid pick and could have been Stuffed Animal in general which could have possibly encompassed Beanie Babies which I was yelling at people to take (and by yelling I maybe mentioned it twice).

on second thought KSB could easily be #2 over Cruzer but I really hated the transformers pick and Hoop >> Yo-Yo.
