MDC 5,933 Posted June 27, 2018 Dogfishhead Namaste White: https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/64/53453/ I live a good witbier - cant drink too many of them but a cold pint is great. I find this kind of beer and Hefeweizen walk a fine line with being sweet vs too sweet. This one is great - excellent golden color and slight orange / coriander aftertaste. Terrific summer beer.
Hawkeye21 1,878 Posted June 27, 2018 Toppling Goliath - Psuedo Sue Iowa beer that is a fantastic Pale Ale. This brewery makes some of the best IPAs. Lagunitas - IPA This is one of my go to beers when going out. Since it's owned by InBev now it's available everywhere and it's a solid beer. Leinenkugel - Summer Shandy Love it during the summer and can crush them all day without getting really drunk. InBev - Busch Light Living in Iowa this is the beer I grew up with and is still my go to long distance drinking beer. If I'm tailgating then I'm drinking this. Hawkeye21 1,878 Posted June 27, 2018 Find some treehouse I'd love to. My cousin has been drinking that lately and says it's amazing. One of the local breweries makes a very good one and even got named the best IPA in Iowa. They some a couple really good NEIPAs. Barn Town in Des Moines also has some fantastic beers. GuardBum 73 Posted June 27, 2018 on hot days, pacifico, and kona/maui brewing Pacifico is such a solid easy brew. Also I love the Kona Co. We have Redhook brewery right outside my workplace. We get their Longhammer IPA regularly for our oncampus bar. Too hoppy for me but when we get the Big Wave or Longboard from Kona (a partner brewer through Craft Brew Alliance) so good.

MDC 5,933 Posted July 11, 2021 I usually drink Corona Light or Amstel Light these days but I like to mix in a hazy pale ale sometimes. The Juice by Peak Brewing is awesome. Very hoppy with a citrus aftertaste and awesome murky orange color.
