The tolerant left strikes again against Robert Barnes, the lawyer representing the Covington kids.

 

Since announcing free rep of #CovingtonBoys, the left has: sent bomb threats to my offices, tried to hack my social media accounts, sent false reports to my credit agency, filed false reviews on lawyer sites & claimed they could trigger illicit audits. I still #StandWithCovington

 

All of their arguments are based on lies and events that literally did not happen. We even have a few posters in here who are continuing to run with the original story even after it was debunked by the same news outlets they got it from in the first place.

 

What that shows is they aren't interested in the truth - only hysteria, fake outrage and lies. Just when you think they can't go any lower, they surprise you.

I guess the standard for slander is significantly lower when you are one, not a public individual and two, a child.

We don't need anyone to tell us what the settlement was for, to know who got the better end of this deal.  If CNN only paid out a small number, they'll definitely leak it out that they only paid out like a million or less to prove that they were right... but just wanted to make this lawsuit go away, implying it was only a money grab.  If nothing comes out, we know that they paid a boat load of cash.  They don't want proof that they're a POS media outlet.

Like when Kaepernick tried to sue for that monster number, he only got $10M (reportedly), which was about 67% of what his contract was that he opted out of.  You know Kaepernick didn't leak that, the NFL did, to prove that they were right.
