The symptoms, you know like the pox part, aren’t really similar.

There are like 1,000 monkeypox cases worldwide, the majority in gay men, so if this was a cover for vax side effects they better pick up the pace and spread it to more groups.

Not to mention not many people are getting vaccinated these days so a sudden increase in symptoms (most of which aren’t even serious - and keep in mind mild symptoms after the vaccine were always expected) a year or more later would be unheard of.

Since as I mentioned I hate most politicians, I bought into the drain the swamp thing in 2016.  I thought his business experience would be good for the economy and that even though he wasn’t experienced in politics, he would surround himself with smart people.

The economy did do well under him and can’t complain about the lower taxes, but I was surprised to see the number of people he fired during his term, and of course I wish he took Covid more seriously, but he did help with getting the vaccine here.   Honestly Covid was the main reason I considered not voting for him again, but Biden didn’t really have a plan for it either and definitely seemed a bit senile.

Well I already said Biden didn’t really have a plan.   But the “more people died under Biden” line wasn’t true until 2022 after he was President for a year, compared to Trump only being President for Covid for about 9 months.  And if you factor in that about 100k of those were infected before Biden was President then it’s not true at all.

I already mentioned the vaccine and know he helped in other ways (although the travel ban wasn’t much of a ban at all), but he was a major contributor to the aforementioned politicization of Covid, claimed it would just disappear on multiple occasions, pushed ineffective treatments like HCQ, and refused to wear a mask and made fun of people who did. 
 

I’m not getting into another mask debate as I’ve said multiple times that they weren’t going to stop Covid, just that they helped, but interestingly there was a recent lockdowns are bad paper that still claimed masks reduced deaths by 18.7%

For the third time I agree Biden didn’t have much of a plan.  But there have been about 600k Covid deaths since Biden was President.  But about 150k of them happened before many people even had access to the vaccine. Also Delta was overall deadlier.

Well yeah, there’s a lot of money in developing vaccines for a virus that caused a once in a century pandemic.  And while it wasn’t as effective as we hoped, it was still pretty dang effective (even against infection pre-Omicron).

Over the last week, I've been to the airport twice, 5 different restaurants, 3 Lyft rides, Ross Dress for Less, a movie theater, and a rental car place and no more than 10% of people are wearing masks.  Workers are required to.

Even the Lyft drivers said they didn't care if I wore a mask or not.

my uber drivers all still wore masks in this last couple weeks, Id say wait staff at restaurants still about 30%, bars about 1%, grocery stores 10%
