Why don’t you address the questions then.  The government (under both Presidents) has certainly made a lot of mistakes with Covid, maybe some of them were even intentional.  But c’mon, they did not intentionally withhold effective treatments.

Thanks for the link, although in the wrong thread. I almost missed it.

My wife picked up on this immediately when it happened since education is her #1 issue if we relocate and (knowing nothing else about the state) Arizona moved to the top of the list of states she wants to move to. I'm not at all enthused about going to Arizona but I do applaud them and hope that they inspire other states to follow suit on education reform.

For some reason, the government was desperate for everyone to get the vax.   Probably because key players are getting kickbacks from PFE.  I certainly wouldn't assume anything they say regarding covid is necessarily true.

And they did use the media to manipulate the public.  The story originally was, "don't panic, everyone.  It mainly effects older folks," but then a bunch of college kids went to spring break, and they didn't want that, so then the narrative shifted to, "look at these young people dying of covid!" That messaging was misleading in order to coerce behavior.

Now given that they were so motivated to get people vaccinated, why would you think they wouldn't suppress any information that detracts from their motivation. 

That's not proof that say vitamin d does anything, but you can be damn sure if something like vitamin D was effective they wouldn't tell anyone for fear people wouldn't take the vax.

In regards to this thread, I'd always intended for the family to get the COVID vax the next time we go to the US. We've all gotten the Chinese vax and had no side effects. My enthusiasm though is fading and my wife is coming down solidly as anti-vaxx.

My point was most of these supposed effective therapeutics/prophylactics were touted in 2020, so if there was good evidence they worked then, they would have been encouraged to the masses since the vaccine wasn’t available yet.

Same.  I've said since early on that damage we continue to inflict on children, through masking and isolation, is by far the biggest travesty of this pandemic.  And almost completely avoidable; I'll concede the end of the spring 2020 semester since we didn't know what we were dealing with.

I honestly don't know how somebody could have young kids (or have had them) and not agree that this was terrible for their development.

The devastation of small businesses continues.    Many tried to make it through the CV19 stuff and hoped that the recovery would save them.    It hasn't.    CV19 lockdowns fundamentally changed how people shop, get entertainment, eat out, etc.     I've seen it locally around me.    A couple of restaurants and businesses that seemed to be still hanging on post-CV19 went under in the last 6 months.    At least one of them were restaurants that had been around for 20+ years.

Wait you’re blaming this on Covid lockdowns???? If that chart is change vs 2021, then that would make zero sense.   Regardless, like 95% of the country is acting as if Covid doesn’t exist (and I’m not saying there’s necessarily anything wrong with that).

Others have shared, probably in this thread, how there is a spate of new information on all of the things the media has discovered which might cause blood clots.  I'm not going to go back and look for the posts, but I'm confident that @TimHauckhas seen them.

Also that article is pure click bait.  I read it, and it says that tea has caffeine, and caffeine dehydrates you, and dehydration increases risk of blood clots.

I’m sure the media may be trying to combat the anti-vax stuff with these articles, but like this most recent example, I don’t recall actual data saying there has been a sudden increase in blood clots, it’s mostly all just anecdotes.
 

According to the CDC leading causes of death data, there were minimal increases in causes that could be related to clotting in 2021 vs 2020.

Heart disease: up 0.3%

Stroke: up 2%

Diabetes: up 2%

Now most of these did see larger than normal increases in 2020 vs 2019, but that was likely largely due to either uncounted Covid or delayed deaths from post-Covid complications.  And considering official Covid deaths (only where it was listed as the underlying cause) rose 20% in 2021 vs 2020, the increase in those other types of deaths would have needed to be much larger than 2% for there to be any indication the vaccine was causing clotting at an increased rate.

Businesses look to be pretty bust from what I can see here in the Midwest.  The biggest problem they have is lack of labor.  Small businesses are still struggling to find people to work and are having to be open fewer hours.  One of our gas stations in town will occasionally close by 7pm because they don't have anyone to work.

If you have a real doctor, just ask him. Mine said that not only are there an abnormal #, the people are always multi jabbed and the clots are not normal blood clots. He said sometimes the whole leg is clotted, which fits exactly what Dr. Cole is finding.

So, my neighbors notified me Monday that they got the China Flu. While they have a healthy distrust of the government, their scumbag doctor talked them into getting the vaccine and boosters. Trust your gut, not some idiot doctor. They just recently got boosters.

I told them, thanks for the warning, but the I got the antibodies and natural immunity. If you shot me in the face with a China virus bullet, it would shatter into hundreds of pieces. The bullet, not my face. 

Yep, the ambulance rolled down our street Tuesday. At least one was stretchered out.  

Dang. This could be potentially the fifth and sixth folks I know that died from the vaccine. But it's also the first time somebody was hospitalized from the virus. Which they got because of the vaccine. Nice people. Vaccine racking up huge kill/cripple numbers, with no end in sight.
