The judge has already thrown out their citizen arrest/self-defense claim.  This case is over regardless of what the jury says.  By the undesputed facts of the case, they are guilty of murder.

Wow. A case could be made for them wanting to follow Arbery until the police came. Another for not shooting Arbery until after he'd grabbed. With those two cards pulled out, they have nothing and are toast.

I haven't been following this case much since it occurred.  I assumed these guys would fry.  Read a little about the closing arguments tonight (prosecution's rebuttal tomorrow so things could change) on a legal blog, and it sounds like these guys could walk.  The guy with the truck didn't even know the other two guys, had no firearm, and had no clue that the other guys did have a firearm.  So, he's the "easy" potential not guilty.  But the other two could walk as well.  I probably won't follow this case too much as I spent too much time following the KR trial, but I will be interested in the verdict.

Agreed, didn’t he have on work boots?  He wasn’t just out for a “jog”.  That’s just media doing their thing.  Even with that said just call the cops, take pictures and video with your phone.  They were the aggressors.

I do not deny that the tactic is rather effective.  Lie...repeat that lie until it becomes a truth.   When challenged, label the challenger with a nasty identifier and declare THEM as the liar....

Agree.   And frankly they should go to jail.

I think we can all, or most of us, can agree that this guy was skulking through the house to find something worth stealing.  This is not a surprise, it happens all the time. Finding nothing he could steal of value he left.

OK, they were on high alert about the site because they already knew that people love to steal stuff from construction sites.

I have no issue with them calling the police or following the would-be thief.   But we should also be able to agree that we do not want people jumping in their cars with guns to stop and confront these people. First and foremost, thieves are usually armed, so that is dangerous; and likely the reason they armed themselves.

Thieves are also prone to violence, as this clown was in attacking the perps.   Now we simple do not want citizens out in the street with weapons deciding these outcomes.  Yes it sucks that more often than not the thieves get away, but the police do their best and we just have to be diligent in protecting our stuff by locking it away, then the Ahmad Abery's of the world cannot steal stuff....

And, as usual, you're wrong.  The evidence was overwhelmingly in favor of the defense in that trial.  Contrary to the narrative pushed by the black community, in 99.9% of criminal cases juries get it right based on the evidence.  And that's regardless of race.

If Kyle was black, and the other people were the same people they are (white guys) - you are actually factually correct - the outcome would have been different.    Kyle would have never been charged, never spent a day in jail, and Rosenbaum & Grosswhatever and Huber would have all been branded as white supremacist's and charged with hate crimes.
