Spoiler alert: Fox has never done that and never will. Maybe after Rupert kicks the bucket they will sell it and somebody will change it? But I doubt that. We saw in the Dominion case that the viewers don’t care about facts. They simply want to have their biases confirmed through repetition. They want to believe Trump won and Biden cheated? Sure, Fox will show them that. And it will continue because every time Fox attempts to tell the truth, viewers leave... because why not? Lots of news organizations can report facts, they can watch another station for that. Fox is the one place where they always hear what they WANT to hear.

Using the term "cult" is not always negative. Since you used Seinfeld I will reference a scene from the show to help you understand. Ron: Well, what do you got here? You know, you got "Don Ho: Live At Honolulu", you got "Jerry Vale Sings Italian Love Songs" you got Sergio Mendes, now come on... Kramer: Wait, wait, wait. Sergio Mendes has a cult following. Newman: They follow him like a cult. Kramer: He can't even walk down the street in South America. Ron: Look, that's his problem, all right? Now you don't like it, too bad. Let's face it: Cucker and Fox represented everything wrong with the media, with his false information and conspiracy theories to feed his hungry followers who find this kind of crap intoxicating. He'd gotten so bad that Fox was pre-screening his shows, which I'm sure played a role in this parting of ways, although I think he just got canned. Fox would have gotten its ass kicked had it let that case go to trial, yet MAGAtards will still believe the election was stolen. Friday, his sign off was see next week. Reporting is Murdoch and someone else(can't remember who) made the decision Friday and told him Monday. Nothing mutual about that at all, he was fired. A court confirmed this, leading to a trial Fox didn’t want. Had they been telling the truth, they would not have paid over $750 million to Dominion Voting Systems. I often see claims that the MSM is just as biased, or is lying too. So why aren’t they being sued? Because people don’t like money? Nah, because they aren’t guilty of slander. If and when they are, the injured party or parties will be able to do what Dominion did. Until then, you’re going to have a hard time convincing anybody that any mainstream media outlet is just as bad as Fox. 1

The standard for libel is extremely high. Read about The NY Times v. Sullivan case if you ever want to see how high. As such, we have a very free press. It takes repeated libel, done with actual malice, for a news organization to get themselves into trouble like Fox did. I look online and I see many right-wing websites. Few, if any, seem to be in any danger of being sued or shut down. So what’s the problem exactly?

More accurately, the media is run by the establishment, which has fully embraced the centralized authoritarian agenda of the modern left. But Murdock is no friend of the people. A big part of Carlson's firing was the Jan. 6th coverage where Tucker dared to show actual footage which the big corp-government power structure did not want exposed. The battle should not be viewed as left vs right. The true battle is giving this country back to the people and out of the hands of the corporate-government elitist who covertly run things behind the scenes.
