Well, notwithstanding my disdain for politicians, the Capitol building on the day of certification of the election (and other dates) is sacrosanct. It is one of the foundational items of our government and if all of those folks were to get killed, I think that it is a little worse than someone losing a business.

What I heard was that 3 of them were medical emergencies, the only 1 of which I'd heard specifics about was a heart attack outside the building. The trampled one is news to me, I don't know the circumstance, was that a result of being "dealt with more harshly" as nobody claimed?

Yeah, the people paid to protect the community were busy focking off while the animals were going nuts vandalizing and looting everything. It was up to volunteers, including teenagers, to try to keep the nuts at bay.

The Capitol building wasn't destroyed.  They were back in there a couple of hours after it was cleared out.  None of it is being condoned.  The only reason they're being compared is professional victims are crying that BLM was treated unfairly in comparison and they absolutely weren't.  They were treated better.

I'm surprised so many people think a congressman's life is more valuable than their own (or some random business owner's).  If every congressman disappeared tomorrow, we would have people exactly like them to step in and do the exact same sh¡t in like a month.  It never even occurred to me to place any value or respect on those people.  They just happened to lie better than the people they ran against in elections.

Well, I am not sure if you are aware, but those idiots actually make our laws and destabilization in where they work can cause all sorts of issues. For example, if we have some bloodshed at the Capitol and say, Pelosi and some high ranking members get taken out, I think that the markets might reflect that. The stock market likes when things are smooth and these types of things cost a lot more money than a business in Seattle which is covered by insurance.
