fandandy 3,314 Posted June 21, 2021 My cat will come and get me if he can see the bottom of his food dish. There could be plenty of food still in the dish but if he can see the bottom it pisses him off and he will tell me. I put more food in there and he starts eating again and is happy as can be. Djgb13 2,339 Posted June 21, 2021 My dog acts like a kangaroo occasionally. Going outside or about to feed her? She’s going to jump up constantly. And not a little jump. A big jump. Multiple times. Pretty funny to see it in person

Mike Honcho 5,542 Posted June 21, 2021 The cat likes to grab a sock from dirty clothes pile and drop it off at the foot of the bed. In the morning it's not unusual to find 3 or 4 socks there.
Bier Meister 1,773 Posted June 21, 2021 When someone comes over, or we return home our dog barks a bit and wants to go out, even if she had just been let out moments before. When we feed her, we put a green stick and a glucosamine tab in her bowl. She will take the stick into the other room first, then returns back to finish everything else. The cat doesn't like people food, except breads. We have to be mindful of bread items we leave out. The cat like to go into the shower once we are done. I leave the shower door open enough for her to get in.

Every night, she grabs it and throws it into our laps, stands there and stares at us with tail wagging. She will grab it back, throw it again...repeat until someone finally gets up and puts a treat in it for her. EVERY. NIGHT. She also puts herself to bed. Around 9pm, she asks to go outside, pees, and then runs directly into her crate, same time every night.

Mookz 1,388 Posted June 21, 2021 I own a pit, he's completely normal except every so often he'll devour one of the neighbor kids. He's quirky like that. 1

Sometimes she hits a point where she wants to go up to bed before us. She will stand at the bottom of the stairs and wait for permission

TBayXXXVII 2,679 Posted June 21, 2021 Occasionally, I have to watch my brother's dog. She's an 80 lb boxer. You wouldn't know it by looking at her. In my bedroom, near the door, I have two baskets for towels... one clean, one dirty. When the dog stays at my house, she always goes up to the clean basket of towels and drags them onto the floor take make her bed. She NEVER uses the dirty towels. I mean, they're only used after I get out of the shower. It's not like there's dirt on them or anything. Now, this may not satisfy a "quirk", but how's this? Every morning when I wake up, the dog is on my bed. Why make a little bed for yourself WITH CLEAN TOWELS, when you're only going to end up in the bed anyway!!! DonS 3,330 Posted June 21, 2021 Our black lab mix who passed a few years ago used to provide us with a "turndown service" . Whenever my wife would fully make the bed the dog would eventually jump on the bed and pull down the top covers so that she could then lie down on the bottom sheet. She would look hilariously guilty as hell whenever we'd find her like that as she knew she wasn't supposed to be doing that. She was an awesome dog. RIP. kutulu 1,724 Posted June 21, 2021 Our cat will only drink running water. Took our two dogs to the lake house last week. One of the dogs does not have the natural instinct to swim. The other one is a great swimmer and pooped in the lake.

KayJay1971 239 Posted June 22, 2021 I have an English Bulldog as my avatar suggests. She will follow us around the house all day. Every time we go into a room she will stand in the doorway or in a position that almost blocks us into that room. Also she snores louder than any person I have known and her farts rival mine. kilroy69 1,271 Posted June 22, 2021 My cat likes to attack dogs of all sizes. He quite literally stalks them like they are prey. I have had multiple times where my neighbor yells for me to come get my cat because he is terrorizing her dog that's 5 times the size. One time. I swear to God I came in the yard and he was clinging to the dogs back as the dog ran for it's life. It is one of the most agressive cats to dogs I have ever seen. But super excellent with my son. Also. This cat is not big by any means. Maybe 3lbs.
Mufaletta 81 Posted June 22, 2021 we adopted a dog. Turns out the dog is racist. She growls at black males when out on a walk. Everyone else she is ok with.
