Sounds great!  That's a killer workout though; might need some liquid pain killer afterward.

It's not as hard as people think.  You can go at your own pace.  I cover about 5 miles a day theough the woods. We've got an incredible place to go that has tons of hills.

My wife's uncle drove a snowplow for New Hampshire; always seemed like a fun job, other than you often do it in the middle of the night.

Easy OT.

Neither. All done by the moms and dads. Very cool. They have a contest for who makes the coolest one. A couple of years ago, a group made an alligator one. Took them a month to build. I’ll find a picture.

Cool, but I guess you missed the error...  You said "bond fires", non "bonfires"...

Why not just leave them on the porch? :dunno:

Well I would but Cracker Barrel has too many visitors so I relocated them to our front porch

Do you live next door to Cracker Barrel?

Regardless, leave the rocking chairs on the porch, put a bow on hers, make her an Irish Coffee and escort her to the porch in the morning....

No it’s across town. But already gave them to her tonight when my family was over here. She will get the rest of her stuff tomorrow though

Old Maid did a thread about the twelve Geeks of Christmas years ago. One of my favorites. Everyone contributed. Can’t find it. Happy holidays Geeks.

I've got a Christmas confession. I've always had a thing for the mom in "A Christmas Story." I'd totally hit that.

The little one (3) went full-on whirling dervish with her presents.  Tomorrow morning is going to be insane (mom bought way too much).

Calcium chloride is a salt.  As per the interwebs, sodium chloride (rock salt, also table salt chemically) is still the most common salt used for de-icing, unless you like the environment.

Quote

The environmental toll and long-term costs of rock salt have inspired some states to search for alternative management practices. Magnesium chloride (MgCl)is considered to be safer than NaCl but requires twice the amount to cover the same area, making it more expensive. Calcium chloride (CaCl) is safer for the environment but is three times more expensive than NaCL and so is typically reserved for use in vulnerable areas. Innovative solutions that limit the amount of rock salt needed are also being explored.

When I go skiing with my college buddy we have a tradition that you have to pound a tallboy on the first lift. We are going January 15 and it gets tougher every year.

I don’t love licorice/ anise …

also, talking about Austrian schnapps, not the sweet mixers.

Drinking a nice tall boy Bitburger right now. I would have to take the lift to the absolute top and still might not make it.
