I think the majority of the population is against Putin, even here. The blame seems to get spread all over the place though. I think the whole situation has brought people together a bit more at least.

Yes, everything is just meant to make it more painful on Russia. People “care,” but very few actually give a fock…not that I blame them.

As with pretty much everything in this world, it’s all about money. We’ll give money/resources to Ukraine and we’ll impose sanctions on Russia, but we still have to import oil from Russia because that’s in our best interest.

We don’t really give a fock about Ukraine.

One way I see this war escalated is things like flaming nuclear plants. They become an imminent danger to the region, then I can certainly see an escalation from NATO or the European Union.

One of the reasons I love the forum format of social media is because you build up a knowledge base of posters, even here there are many people i consider experts.

From the below post from another site i frequent there are people with experience saying that the nuclear power plant issue is probably not as big of deal as the media is making it out to be. Of course, I do not have any first hand knowledge but it seems like the nato countries and the media are going to use this as a bargaining chip. It probably will be a big deal in the headlines over the next 24 hours.
