There's nothing wrong with RvW getting overturned.  It's now in the states jurisdiction, where it belongs.  People don't have, and never did have, a "RIGHT" to get an abortion... they had the ability to get it.  They still do.  This belongs at the state level.

I don’t disagree with you, which is why I struggle with the issue.  I’m very much a states rights person but won’t deny my feelings about this.  Sometimes there may be an issue where one’s personal feelings run contrary to his overall ideology.  Just being honest about it.

I am pro-life, but I'm ok with people getting an abortion if they want one... but, my only gripe is with them is that if they're getting it, they should pay for it.  It's like elective surgery.  You want it, you pay for it... not me, not the government.  I'm ok with exceptions such as rape victims and such, but they better file a report and have a rape kit.

What's focked up is this girl was how many weeks pregnant?  No one was arrested until it got national attention and then a couple of weeks later, they find the guy?

This story gets worse and worse.  It was bad enough when someone made it up, but now it's true and people like MDC are celebrating it because they think it means a god damned thing for RvW, but what were the authorities doing such that no one even knew there was an investigation ongoing?  Then they arrest the guy and let him go?  The whole thing is just bizarre.

Not true.   Now let’s see who took her to Indiana and placed that burden on her.  Best case scenario is a family member did it to protect the rapist. Worse case is the doctor or other official was in on it. We shall see. 1. If what HT says is true, why did they even go to Indiana?
2. Let's say the girl was only a few weeks pregnant.  That means people knew she was raped.  Why was her rapist walking free?  Did she just not tell anyone she was raped and therefore, no investigation had been started.
3. She went to multiple doctors and no one reported abuse?  Or did they after it blew up?
4. The story had been out for a couple of weeks, yet the AG couldn't get specifics on the case?  How is that even possible?
5. An illegal alien is arrested and released on bond.  He isn't considered a flight risk because he has a job at a cafe?

I've looked and don't see where she COULD legally get an abortion in Ohio.  What I've read is Ohio had  a trigger ban in place should Roe fall(No abortions after 6 weeks--no exceptions). After that, since it's a minor and it's medical records, not much more to know. Very easily that the little girl didn't know she was pregnant until after 6 weeks. 

Perhaps the people who are saying she didn't have to travel to Indiana could step up and provide the proof that she could get one in Ohio.
