I'll vote for Trump even if he's in prison.

You’d vote for him if he shot you in the face on 5th Ave.

I'd wager on it.  Put your money where your mouth is.

$100 dollars says he doesn't get convicted and spends a full day in jail prior to election day, November 5, 2024.

BET TAKEN!

Like any of the other 20 things that have panned out to nothing-burgers.  That's the problem with that cute little saying.......its just that and not based on reality, but based on supposed things that might have coulda woulda happened...yada yada.

Y'all say that because people don't believe all the nothing burgers when they come out.  And we're the weird ones........

15 years? And they only caught up with him after Trump won? Yeah, the justice system isn’t politicized. You people don’t give a shite about justice. You’ll overlook anything as long as it’s against your “enemy”. You ain’t American. You just live here.

You posted minutes ago that Trump won't do any time for any crime, but you aren't overlooking anything.

I didn’t say that. I said he won’t do any time in a case that he’s not the defendant in.    HTDS man, gets them all the time. You can take that back now.

  • Donald Trump's former CFO will admit in Manhattan on Thursday that he conspired to dodge payroll taxes on $1.7 million in income over 15 years.

That's 18K a year in taxes?  Seems like something they will just settle up with interest.  That's pocket change and explains why he's going to go ahead and say, ok fine.

Makes for a great headline though doesn't it.

Edit to add:  I see he's going to admit to a scheme and did it on purpose and do 5 months in jail.

You guys should get some clarity on this.  I read it as Trump needs to BOTH (1) be convicted of a crime, and (2) spend a full day in jail for it.

Also, what is a full day in jail?  Overnight might be a more objective criterion.

Yes- the "and" would obviously indicate both conditions have to happen in the bet.

Correct.  There are 24 hours in a day.  Full 24 hours.

The US government invades a former president’s home and won’t tell us why they did it. And the left sees nothing wrong with this because you know, orange man bad.

Florida judge orders the Affidavit un-sealed!  And the DOJ is crying about it.  Names to be redacted.

And they really dont want Trump to release the security videos.

Trump holding a bunch of cards all of a sudden.

Uh huh.

Documents unsealed Thursday

which offered specifics about the crimes the Justice Department is investigating, including "willful retention of national defense information," sharpens the focus on former President Donald Trump as a possible subject of the criminal probe, several legal experts told CNN.

US Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart on Thursday released several procedural court documents related to the FBI's search of Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. The newly unsealed document was part of the application for the warrant and was among several largely procedural documents the judge unsealed Thursday.
Previously, the search warrant documents only listed the federal statutes, including the broad law known as the Espionage Act. And the documents released so far have made clear that Trump and others around him face potential legal exposure, including for possible obstruction of justice.

This part -

Also Thursday, Reinhart set in motion the possible public release of a heavily redacted version of the affidavit for the search at Mar-a-Lago.

Yeah, they will hide everything they can. Thursday is the next hearing to tell Trump's lawyers to deal with it. Nothing new.

Right, they don't want it unsealed so everything is going to be redacted.  Dumb.
