I don't know what you do about the kid, who is probably already damaged goods, but whoever gave him access to a gun should be prosecuted for whatever crime the kid committed with the gun.  In this case that should be attempted murder, or murder is the teacher dies.   That's the only way we're going to get people to be responsible with their guns.

Can he truly be tried for murder? I mean, he will go to juvie, but would it carry over on his record? I don't even know how this works.
