It used to be on my TV hours a day.

I can’t remember the last SportsCenter I watched let alone a “show”.

Complete trash

If not for live sporting events, most people would never watch.

Agree and the same.  Maybe their target audience changed to kids and women.  Not sure.  But that channel is hard to watch unless sports are on.

I used to listen to all of their radio shows as well but haven't tuned in for that in almost a decade.

Mike and Mike first thing in the morning

Kornheiser which later became Cowherd.

Dan Patrick

The good old days. :(

All ESPN threads are just remembrance threads nowadays.

ESPN SportsCenter was kind of like a lifestyle in my 20s. Drinking too much, gambling too much, enjoying professional sports just all the time on down time and when hanging out with friends. We were also all in softball, football, bowling leagues and such as well. Even when we were doing other things at the home like playing poker or just drinking or doing some other gambling and such, ESPN SportsCenter was always on often with the sound down since everyone had already seen it through already. Or at least parts of it. Most of the girls I dated were not into sports but they were chill about all the partying and hanging out at that age. Always something going on and people coming and going and ESPN was on at home and in the bars.

If SportsCenter was just as good today, of course things wouldn't be like they were, but I would sure as hell watch it at least once a day now. Either in the morning while working out or on some down time late night. I watch little to no TV now that is not planned TV. I'll watch NFL football games and specific shows that I want to see, but that's about it.

It's funny cause I listen to sports radio, but never even think of listening to ESPN. I have fantasy sports radio preset in my car, along with MADDOG and NFL radio. I haven't even tuned into ESPN radio for years.

It really is disgusting how over the top shltty woke they made that show. Why the hell did they move away from what they had? Hell, even the liberals on this site won't dispute how woke ESPN is. That said, the liberals on this site most likely don't like sports. They are busy with their dolls and looking at pictures of little kids.

Wonder if they will axe the one that just sided with Riley Gaines vs the tranny freak.

No, no, no. You just don’t understand. The guy in the teachers lounge said so and so did the guy that defends child rapists. You’re way off.

Why would you be sure of that? I was out on my own at 17. Projecting your experiences on to others doesn't really work.

It'll be interesting to see the spin on this one, their issues are directly related to being woke.

Waiting on their marching orders as we speak.

We likely can never be sure of the "why" but I think a reasoned person can make that assertion.  The problem being that there is no allowance for anyting other than complete submission from the left, so they are stuck.  No one wants to be preached to about this woke bullsh!t sxo they watch other stuff, but they cannot relent due to the way liberals behave. Tough spot to be in, but they deidced to become political so this is what they get

In general, in the past, people wanted sports to just be sports. It was a getaway from everything else. You turned off politics, social rhetoric, your job, and everything that went along with it. If the alarms weren't going off already, the whole Kaepernick thing should have driven it home. ESPN doubled, tripled, quadrupled down on it.

The only political/social thing that has EVER been ok with sports getting behind in the past has been American patriotism. Then at some point it all went to shlt. Every league changing team names, talking about race for hiring practices, highlighting social "justice/injustice" as part of their broadcasts, etc.... ESPN has been integral with instigating and growing that new sports "culture" in America as they have been the biggest voice out there in sports over the past 25 years or so. Not unlike our liberal media when it comes to politics overall in this country.

ESPN has ruined sports as we knew it to be. That is their legacy now.

Good question.  Sage Steele & Sam Ponder (i agree with both)  have both come out in support of RG.  Sadly, I would think one or the other is gone but not both.

Not me. I didn't even start making really good money until I was in my late 30s. I wouldn't change a thing though. But I can only say that because I got smart with my money when I started really making it. I mean, I worked a lot when I was in my 20s. Relentless. But I spent a lot too. :)

I still watch a little SportsCenter while I'm working out in the morning, plus the Monday night game, depending on who's playing, that's about it. I pretty much never visit their website. I'm just not as interested anymore, I guess, not because of any woke stuff.

You reap what you sow.

Got cable for the first time in 1990. All the local/network channels +  ESPN - A&E  - USA Network - The Weather Channel - TBS  - VH1 - MTV - Disney Channel - AMC - Bravo TNT - The Learning Channel - Discovery etc. + HBO for under $40 a month. And that's when HBO was good.

You’re an idiot.  We’ve already had this discussion.  Their issues are not directly related to being woke, their biggest issue is people don’t watch TV for sports highlights because they can get all the highlights they need on their phone from YouTube/twitter/Facebook/etc

Each show has like 30 hosts anyhow. Why do they need so many people anyway? It's like the United Nations only with dykes who knows nothing about sports.

Can't imagine Kobler will be unemployed for long - NFL Network or Fox will scoop her up.
