Almost every hard push for "social justice" and to prioritize "identity politics" by Team Blue since the Obama Administration is built around driving specific public policy and enforcing public administration built around "woke" 

Tax payer dollars. 

Every dollar printed isn't just robbery of your future and my future, it's spending ahead of time where that impact will punish the children of everyone here. The children of everyone out in the United States, no matter who they vote for and it will likely bleed over into our grandchildren as well.  Without economic stability, basic functions for a practical sustainable civil society fall apart. No farming, no water treatment, no energy production, no national defense and national security, no law enforcement, no emergency services, no schools and education, etc, etc - I'm talking about the very basics to keep society moving forward and keep people alive. Every push towards "social justice" to effectively buy votes is wrecking the economy. If you hit the economy enough, you will cause cascading damage to basic material needs for American citizens to survive. Then people start dying. Their children start dying. 

Let me ask you something - Would you blame any young person in their 20s right now if they didn't want to have kids? 

Because the country is in a total mess right now. Young people are depressed and many feel hopeless. No likely chance to retire, no chance to buy a home, a social system where everyone is on Tinder and the clear collapse of the public education system around them.  No new babies = No new future workers and no future tax payers.  You need a new generation of police, doctors, nurses, teachers, farmers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc, etc to make society function. What happens when you have a society that is living longer and longer and the government keeps spending and spending and there is no incentive to have kids which crushes the future tax base? Your society collapses, people starve and die. 

What's important in life? How about that America's children have a future. 

Now I want to be fair about this. You are correct that there is more to life than just looking at the world's biggest problems 365/24/7. But to assess others as "lemmings" because the discussion might depress you or others won't clearly be as depressing as full blown future economic collapse. I'm taking a safe bet that when you get very old, you'd like to walk down a safe street and when you walk into a grocery store, that there's food there and food you can afford. 

Is the MSM a bunch of state sanctioned propaganda? Yes. But there are still nuggets of truth within them and within the non MSM elements out there.  IMHO, they are worth looking at because the road to starving and dying is a pretty ugly alternative. You cannot print this much money and in this short of a period and not inflict real chaos and suffering. The economy collapses and people start dying. Hell, lots of people are dying and suffering right now. 

"This" is not about us anymore. It's about what's left for America's kids. So they have some hope. Some kind of future. That's something, no matter anyone's political leanings, that's actually worth fighting for out there.

you are missing the entire point.

the only way to keep the system running correctly is checks and balances and separation of powers.  this is because there is ALWAYS another wanna-be dictator trying to corrupt the system to suit himself.  they NEVER stop coming.  this means we must always be in a state of eternal vigilance.  the second everyone stops caring, then the system gets corrupted and falls apart.  its like car maintenance.  you always have to check the air in the tires, always need to change the oil, check the brakes, etc..  some people have twisted the concept of vigilance to mean the guy is a prepper crazy type.  its like someone not doing routine maintenance on their car claiming its not important, and then mocking anyone who does the keep up on their own.

The seafoam story I heard was during colonialism, that an American Native American tribe (can’t recall which one) believed that the natives of all the different lands are brown because they come from the earth but the white man does not come from the earth they come from the sea, they are born from the sea foam.
