What's Your Gripe ?

Recommended Posts

Mine has to do with pizza chain restaurants again and it's Little Caesars, The one that is two blocks away from me is never hot and ready, The last three times I been there it's a 15 minute wait. I feel like going off on a Seinfeld rant to their employees  Do you not understand why people come here for pizza ? It's cause they don't have to wait for it and it's in your slogan Hot and Ready! You need to change your slogan to Hot Whenever It's Ready.

Oh and my usual gripe lazy people that can't put their weights back when they are done at the gym. You can lift those heavy weights but just not able to put them back after ? Anyhow what you guys got ?

Cold hard refrigerated Pat butter served at dinner for reals. Like what the fock am I going to do with that? I mean I guess I could shove it up my ass for a few minutes to melt it but then I’m hoping that the gerbil doesn’t eat it before I can put any on my roll. I might be giving out a little too much here.

also that this is the 10th straight year that Santa came in it and focked my wife. Ridiculous

Yea having issues with real butter in the frig as well and think that is why some people opt out and go with the imitation spreads.

The rapidly declining quality in almost everything we buy. Nothing is safe anymore. Sofa’s are built with horrible foam, same with mattresses. Appliances are sh!t. Fabric for clothes, you name it. Seems like everything is disposable now and buy it for life is a thing of the past.

Fockin a-holes  at the gym that are on their Fockin phone sitting there while I’m waiting for a machine. Also, I make believe I’m wiping the machine down when I’m done. I lightly brush over it, barely touching it. It’s some sort of rebellion I guess, because the ones that I see taking it very serious are the same ones on their Fockin phones.

Yea that is a big one for me as well. I swear some people just go to the gym so they can tell others that they go. It shows in their physique in the end though.

You have to book everything as far in advance as they will possibly let you these days. And I mean everything. Not just hotels or dinner reservations, but permits for national or state parks, a day pass at the hot springs, ski rentals, tours, water parks, etc. etc. I mean it’s great they keep the numbers down but if you don’t have your whole life planned out at least two years in advance, good focking luck

This is a great one, and SO true.

We generate SO much trash and waste as Americans. I was surprised when I was in Europe that they have very little trash and waste; they recycle a LOT. I know some of us do here too, but it's on such a small scale compared to them.

Customer service is awful, any type of business I go to the service is usually very poor.

I don't gripe to *you*, Reiben. I'm a captain. There's a chain of command. Gripes go up, not down. Always up. You gripe to me, I gripe to my superior officer, so on, so on, and so on. I don't gripe to you. I don't gripe in front of you. You should know that as a Ranger.

This subject just came up on next-door.com last week. Someone said we should ban all plastic bags immediately, because no one recycles them.

All 6 of the major grocery stores in my town have plastic bag collection points in the entrance. People just don't use them.

My personal gripe is the increasing number of people who either don't dim their lights at all, or wait till they're 15 yards away and you've already been blinded.

Although it could be the vehicle itself. Someone who bought a new vehicle recently, said he had to get out the owners manual & change nighttime dimming to manual from automatic.

I used to flash my brights when I saw someone getting really close who still had their brights on, until I found out that it's illegal in the retarded state of Minnesota.

But what about flashing your headlights at another vehicle coming at you with their high beams on -- blinding you for the moment? It's even worse with those super-bright new headlights out there. Is it ok to give 'em a quick flash or two, or is that another no-no in Minnesota?

Survey says...

It's illegal. (Yes, really.) Flipping your high beams on once or twice to let another oncoming vehicle that they have their high beams on is officially against the law in Minnesota.

In an article on hometownsource.com, Sargent Jesse Grabow of the Minnesota State Patrol says:

A person is not allowed to “flash” their headlights at another vehicle, even if that vehicle has its high beams on. When meeting a vehicle in Minnesota, dim your headlights to low beams at 1,000 feet (even on a divided roadway.) Also use your low beams when you’re following another vehicle at 200 feet or less.

Interesting, I wonder what Florida's law is.?.

My wife recently bought a '21 Honda Pilot. Great car, but the damn headlights are halogen. Great for driving at night. Not so great for on-coming traffic. Every time I drive at night drivers are constantly flashing high beams at me, even though mine's not on.

I don't even flash back. I feel their pain. Those damn headlights should be illegal.

Doing it in the daylight here in PA was to warn other drivers there is a cop ahead so they would slow down. Maybe that has something to do with it being illegal ?

Premature braking at traffic signals.

The light is green, and they start braking in anticipation of a light change.

Fock you, premature braker!

Just to piggyback off that for a second. The dip shits that are first at the light and when it turns green, they are focking around on their phone or whatever and don’t get moving.

I want to add a gripe. The AT&T commercial where they are on the plane and that biitch flight attendant says cash or card. I want to throat punch her. Also, if you run out and get the latest iPhone, just because from what I can tell the only difference is it’s made out of titanium then you’re a moron . Thank you.

One-speed drivers. Getting stuck behind someone going 50 in a 55, and then they go 50 in a 45 zone.

Good one.  My wife recently went shopping for some clothes; she used to buy a lot from Ann Taylor but she said their stuff was now shiot -- no lining in pants, etc.

I pretty much just buy cheap stuff from places like Banana Republic these days -- they also used to have decent quality but that is gone, but they've embraced their cheapness in their prices, so I just figure I can just cycle through stuff and not spend too much in doing so.
