Somehow forgot coffee as number one first answer. Americano, two shots.

Like them iced or hot. For iced I like a little cinnamon sprinkled on top

We purchased one of those soda stream systems and get the zero sugar cherry pepsi, cola, starry

Cherry coke zero is probably my favorite

Diet Pepsi is usually my go to, but I don't drink it like I used to. Or a diet ginger ale.

Vodka. But it produces sugar as does bourbon.

I don't understand what you mean.

AI Overview

No, bourbon does not directly produce sugar in the body. While bourbon is made from fermented grains, the resulting alcohol does not convert into sugar. The main concern with bourbon and blood sugar is that alcohol can affect glucose regulation, potentially causing low blood sugar, especially when consumed without food.

Here's a more detailed explanation:
  • .Opens in new tab
Pure bourbon, without added flavors or sweeteners, contains virtually no sugar. The sweetness you perceive in bourbon is due to the natural flavors derived from the mash bill and the aging process in oak barrels.

What is your favorite readily available bourbon/bourbons? I tend to stay in the 30-55ish range….Woodford Double Oak, Olfd Forester 1910  for the sweeter side . Regular Buffalo Trace when I can find it but there are so many good ones in that $ range

I have a couple bottles of the Van Winkle I look forward to try. But normally I drink the Blanton's Black bourbon. Good stuff.

My go to everyday.. umm... regular bourbons are one of the following two:

1. Elijah Craig Small Batch, 94 proof, $39.99 for 1.75L at Total Wine:

2. Knob Creek Small Batch, 9 year, 100 proof, $42.99 for 1.75L at Total Wine

One or both are also sometimes available at Costco I think, which is probably where I first discovered them.  Price is comparable IIRC tho.

The only diet drink that I think is even close to the normal version is Gatorade

Honcho likes Tab. His garage is filled with it. He likes the furniture polish aftertaste. He also walks around with his finger up his nose a lot.
