Good points.  As an Arizonan, I'm familiar with our attempt to police illegal immigrants, since the administration at the time (Obama, 2010) wasn't doing it.  The Supreme Court (not the current Trump appointed fascist Nazi evil Supreme Court) ruled that that was too bad, and that this was the purview of the feds.

I know the claim is she was “impeding an investigation,” but I don’t think that’s considered a “traffic stop.”  That’s why I was asking about if they were actually looking for specific illegals on that street.  If not, a good lawyer might be able to argue that there wasn’t really an “investigation” going on.

They weren't trying "stop her simply for illegally parking in the street."  They were trying to remove her from the vehicle for obstruction.  So, when a law enforcement officer orders you to get out of the vehicle, you are required to do so.
