I suspect it is part of the low-carb = debbil keto thing. That being said, Any number of sugars can be fermented as part of brewing beer -- traditional is malted barley, but also rice, corn syrup, honey, malted wheat, etc... each will leave a different flavor profile with the part that doesn't ferment. IMO it isn't good or bad, but a matter of flavor preference.

Imagine the sense of loss for Bill Cowher. He was set up for true greatness as coach of the Steelers and with multiple super bowls coming in the 21st century. Then came Brady and Belichick and his super bowl caliber teams kept getting bounced early by them, and eventually he winds up spending his prime coaching years hiding in the studio.
