BREAKING: DOGE officials have just entered the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) building. Shut it down.

That actress Cynthia Nixon is proof that much of this is a social contagion. Like Grunge or Disco.

I was about to type something similar to the above then thought....."Wait, didn't I post in this thread already?". So yeah, I agree with this stud above.

I know what xy and xx chromosomes mean. It’s like understanding why the sky is blue. My little girl could tell me it’s green. However, I shouldn’t lie to her to make her believe something that is factually false. It only harms her going forward and indulging these delusions is just that. That’s what you are essentially promoting.

It destroys his entire argument; therefore, it must not be reasonable......

I don’t know. What I do know is all throughout recorded history we have had a small percentage of people who fall into this category. For thousands of years their only option, other than to hide their thoughts from the public, was to pretend to be the sex they really should have been in the first place- transvestites, cross dressers, etc. Now we have the science to actually deal with this issue properly.

But that’s part of the problem. You, and many others here, are attempting to ascribe layman’s terms to mental illness and you can’t do it, anymore than you can use layman’s terms to describe quantum physics. Mental illness is a very complicated subject. I don’t pretend to understand it. On this subject, as with other subjects that I don’t understand I rely on the experts to tell me. In this day of Trumpian anti-intellectualism trusting experts is not a popular move. But it’s the right move.

I've said this over and over. January 6th was bad for a lot of reasons. One ancillary factor that came from this was all of a sudden the right was the party of violence. And the dems were swimming in it after Trump got elected and it ran for the 4 years he was in office. Constant calls for violence, from elected people too(Maxine Waters anyone). They have shown to be the violent party over and over and over. Liberals losing their collective minds and threatening assignations, and general violence against MAGA types. Talking about punching them in the face, harming them physically etc etc. They have been doing this for a long long time, and January 6th flipped that narrative. Now it appears to be back again, and even more strongly that before. Make no mistakes..The left will absolutely use violence to satisfy their feelings. They have proven this. And it's really ingrained in them

I want to be the first to say Make America Healthy Again! Make America Safe Again! Make America Great Again! It's a great time to be a Normal American Patriot!

Yep, let's rewrite history too to make it look like trans people have always been around in large numbers since the caveman times and it was "perfectly normal" back then too boot.

With my company we have to do the good ol' harassment training course annually, and it's the scenarios they set up in there that are comical, particularly the gay and trans ones. The all-American men-harassing-women scenarios go something like this: John: Damn, Tanya, your teets look magnificant today, and you're ass is rocking like a Metallica concert. Tanya: Um, uh, thanks, I guess. John: Tanya, you wanna come over to my apartment tonight for some whiskey, fentanyl and butt sex? Man, I'll plow you old school like an 1800s farmer with a mule and a hoe. QUIZ WHAT SHOULD TANYA DO HERE? A.) Just chalk it up to John being John but politely decline. B.) Go over to John's apartment, because, hell, she hasn't been laid in years. C.) Do nothing. D.) Go rub the kitty in the women's restroom for some relief. E.) Report him to human resources immediately.

You guys (and girl sorry) are all dismissing the scientists and then asking me, a layman to explain the science to you. Incredibly absurd.
  13. 1 point
STOP THIS. It isn't true and you use that same line in every argument.
  14. 1 point
All of these groups are political, lobbying organizations. Scientific American has had nothing to do with science for years, we've discussed this. Use your own words to explain why you think BIID is different than trans.
  15. 1 point
Again, unless chromosomes and what we’ve long known about sexes to be true somehow has unraveled, you’re making a statement that is false. I haven’t stated anything that isn’t scientifically factual to make my case. You’re bringing feelings and beliefs in to justify your position. Someone’s feelings or beliefs aren’t facts.

Look, you guys need to realize all the people you are rejecting here: Psychiatry. org World Health Organization American Medical Association Canadian Institute of Health Research American Psychiatric Association National Health Services, United Kingdom Scientific American And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Nearly every reputable medical authority on the planet. Are they all woke? Or stupid? Apparently you guys think so. I’m gonna continue to rely on them.

Its amazing how normal this thread is compared to the retardfest that the rest of this place has become. Seriously, if edex wasnt here, there would be nothing redeeming at fftoday forums. A couple of older posters have lost their minds and gone full retard and the influx of new retards just makes it worse. Long way to go for me to say "I love you guys man....."

Nope. The DOJ said that they should drop the charges because the case could interfere with his reelection campaign and his ability to deport migrants. They're not saying the charges are bogus. They said that charges can be brought back at a later time. This is a clear quid pro quo directive and a clear political use of the DOJ. This is what you cried about for 4 years and now you support it. 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴

I do know a few trans women, and every one of them have believed they were women since they were very young. I think bodily chemistry has everything to do with the bulk of transgenderism as well as mental illness, such as bipolar disorder or being a sociopath on the extreme end. I'm sure there are plenty of forum members here who suffer from depression or other mental issues, which medication can help control. But I don't think transgenderism as whole is any more of a mental illness than how each of us identify ourselves genderwise. Completely different from the paranoid shizophreniac who hears voices in his head and kills and eats his mother. True story. He was found criminal insane and put into the nuthouse, where medication made him as normal as could be and sane enough to have a thoughtful interview with the media. But before he got put away, he went off his meds and killed his mom. The trans women I know have it hard, and a lot of the mental illnesses they have were the result of growing up confused, scared and seeing the world as a place in which trans people are despised, as they are here. Imagine growing up knowing you're different, listening to all the hatred and having to hide who you are. That's a recipe for mental illness right there.

Biology. It's a conflicting argument: Transgenderism is a mental illness. Transgenderism is a choice. What is it? Do people with mental illnesses choose to have mental illnesses? Bipolar? Depression? Schizophrenia? Narcissism? Being a sociopath? If transgenderism is a product of biology, do we classify it as a mental illness or look at it in terms of your biology identifying you as a male, and the chemicals in their bodies tell them that they are female? Is that really a mental illness if your biology tells you what gender you are? I rule out it being a choice, frankly. But just because one has twigs and berries or girly body parts doesn't mean biology and chemical makeup can't tell you that you belong on the other side. I'm not a fan of smashing transgenderism into people's faces, but I do think there needs to be acceptance of those who've known since they were very young that had a chemically different identity than the physiology they were assigned at birth.
