As far as using up the water, it's a well, and with some wells you have to be careful on usage. There is a pump that pumps water out of the ground into the house and if you're using too much water too quickly it could burn out. Also if the acquifier where the well gets it's water from is shallow and or low it can go dry temporarily. Probably valid concerns. Probably has a history of going dry. Probably needs a new deeper well
