Saturday Night Beaver 2 Posted October 11, 2006 NEW YORK -- A small plane piloted by New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle crashed into a 50-story condominium tower Wednesday on Manhattan's Upper East Side, raining flaming debris onto the sidewalks below and rattling New Yorkers' nerves five years after the Sept. 11 attack. Â Lidle died in the crash. Â The twin-engine plane came through a hazy, cloudy sky and hit the 20th floor of The Belaire -- a red-brick tower overlooking the East River, about five miles from the World Trade Center -- with a loud bang, touching off a raging fire that cast a pillar of black smoke over the city and sent flames shooting from four windows on two adjoining floors. Â Information from The Associated Press was used in this report
BMoney 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Â thats too bad.. Â since everyone thinks its so comical...ill entertain them.. Â as of 405 cst 10/11...there were only 8 items on ebay for cory lidle.... Â over/under and how many there are 3 hours from now?
bob_probert_2000 1 Posted October 11, 2006 There's no way that was a twin engine plane. The hole in the condo doesn't match up with the plane size. Clearly it was a military rocket.

Based on the lack of parts found, it's painfully obvious it was either a 20 ton A3 SkyWarrior or a thousand pound Predator drone. I sure hope MrStreak gets here soon and clears it up.
