The Moz 69 Posted April 16, 2015 ed - I kinda' hope my predictions are false - they are too "cookie-cutter" and the show is rarely that way - and it's part of why it so enjoyable. they are ... logical though but not really close
Quickolas1 80 Posted April 17, 2015 The dragons take down the Wall, freeing the Others (White Walkers) to descend and they team up to kill everyone because they are tired of waiting for GRRMartin to resolve all the characters' conflicts. The White Walkers return home north, the dragons fly away to live in the Dothraki deserts. Benjen Stark finally shows up out of nowhere, the last person left in Westeros, sits on the Iron Throne and exclaims "finally, a win for the Starks!!!" The End. CantTouchThis 23 Posted April 20, 2015 So Brienne just happens to run into every Stark in Westeros? I get they are trying to add to her storyline because she is an interesting character and they are cutting out the most interesting part, but still. There is plenty that can happen to her other than just bumping into all these characters, including the 2 girls she was looking for, in a country that is about the size of Mexico. I LOVE that they are going to give us more Bronn. I abso-focking-lutely approve of that and the whole Dorne trip . I guess they did not want to show that the choosing on the Wall actually takes like 30 votes until there is, I think, a 2/3 majority . That's fine, but they could have shown how Sam slowly but surely manipulated the votes. Lord Commander Jon Snow. DROGON!!! He looks awesome and gigantic. They are actually following the Meereen storyline pretty closely and making it a bit more interesting than I thought it would be.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted April 20, 2015 I loved the first two episodes. While not a ton of action, that's just fine with me. It's the set up and storytelling that make this show so much better than most. Love the kingslayer and bronn headed to dorne. Any way that they can work those two into the plot is good with me. Also, I could listen to varys and Tyrion match wits all day long. how do these two not have a show on bravo yet? I would definitely watch that.

I remember it being such an awesome moment in the book, and it lost some of that for the show.

IGotWorms 4,058 Posted April 20, 2015 Jamie is total scum. Why do I root for him? He's certainly flawed but I wouldn't say he's scum. Certainly not when compared to most of the power players in game of thrones. He showed kindness towards Brienne and had a soft spot for his dwarf brother, among other redeeming incidents. Plus it's easy to feel bad for him since he lost his hand. And it's become increasingly clear that his previous bad self was mostly attributable to being wrapped around the finger of his focked up kvnt of a sister I like him. phillybear 366 Posted April 20, 2015 5.02 The House of Black and White Fair to good episode with nothing I would consider filler but not a barn burner either. Arya does a reenactment of the Fight Club porch waiting scene at the front of the ominous looking black and white cookie building. I don’t know why she didn’t understand the whole disguise concept and that she was talking to Jagermeister the whole time. I was a annoyed at Arya giving a pigeon what appeared to be a hair cut and somehow it’s haid fell off. She swung over the top of it. She does have a very definitive list of whom she wants to kill, Cersei, Frey, Mountain, and Meryn Trant. Didn’t she have the Hound on her list at some point? She is invited inside eventually to being her training for something, maybe. While the road trip movie between The Hound and Arya last season was fun, this season’s Bork Lesnar and Podrick journey is tedious and simply unenjoyable. Littelfinger is engaged again. He’s a sneaky sh!t and is looking to usurp another kingdom to extend his power. I like it. Bork’s past failures at protecting everybody and anybody are brought up by Littlefinger and Sansa tells her to vamoose. FACE!! Bork inexplicably decides to stalk Sansa to wherever she is going. Even her lickspittle is competent enough to realize that her vow is now void since both Starks told her to make like a tree and get out of here. In an effort to get Cersei to shut the fock up, Jaime is on a mission to Dorne, and recruits Bronn away from a life of listening to some yappy broad. There is some discussion in Dorne about revenge, but the king is a pussie. Cersei has taken charge in King’s Landing in her son’s name and is passing out titles like somebody hitting a large bucket of balls at the driving range. Uncle Kevan gave Cersei some lip. That won’t end well. On the bright side, the general public is beheading every dwarf in sight to receive a pot of gold. The most boring storyline continues to be the inept Daenerys and her clown council, bungling everything in sight. I was reminded of the Nedd Stark execution when they chopped that dude’s haid off, except the crowd got really angry. So, is the idea to push her rule into the muck until Varys and Tyrion arrive to save the day? Their carriage ride banter was somewhat spirited but mostly persnickety. Runaway dragon sighting. Lizard Face and the water head girl have a discussion about life, the universe, and everything. I slowly insert a toothpick deep under my fingernail. Stannis offers Jon a title and Winterfell. Jon doesn’t want it, but instead wins election as Lord Commander for the Night Watch. The equivalent of being on Let’s Make a Deal and trading in your brand new car for a bucket of paint, on purpose. OldMaid 2,130 Posted April 27, 2015 So... what do you do when you have a series character who's storyline hasn't been written yet? You give her the part of someone else. Gotta say, I can't believe I didn't think of it. And now that I've seen it, it seems so blatantly obvious. All this speculation about whether or not they knew what Martin's plans were... all for naught. This solves the problem beautifully. Goodbye fake Arya Stark aka Jeyne Poole. Hello Sansa Stark. IGotWorms 4,058 Posted April 27, 2015 I don't like Sansa but even I feel bad for her getting married off to that psychopathic creep. He's gonna do some messed up stuff to her. Magnificent Bastard 191 Posted April 27, 2015 In don't know, Sansa may be getting underrated. Revenge is a powerful thing, and she definetly is entitled. I think Sansa is being underrated here. She has a long plan in mind, and she has the support of those in the north. A stark in Winterfell has a lot of weight to it, and while I understand Bolton's thinking, I think he may regret being a Stark to town.
