Djgb13 2,338 Posted January 16, 2015 I see two extremes here. Hate for the pats and Bill or love for them. That being said the ones hating on them haven't really had much to go on since the pats have consistently been a top team

n_omarley 11 Posted January 18, 2015 Decent discussion, but there is way too much "greatest coach of all time" talk. LOMBARDI

TD Ryan2 316 Posted February 4, 2015 I'd like to see a comparison of great GM vs. Belichik GM. I don't think he's a great GM, but I don't think he's been below average either. Especially considering he always drafts near last. also, also... Logan Mankins... guess that worked out OK and I was skeptical.

Magnificent Bastard 190 Posted August 16, 2015 as General Manager. He has been god awful for many years as a GM. Not signing Deion Branch and Ty Law which probably cost them the Super Bowl in 2006. Not signing Welker and trading for Amendola. There are a TON of examples. And I just found this. http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2014/01/20/bill-belichick-stepping-down-as-gm-is-key-to-new-england-patriots-future-success/ Hmmmmm
tanatastic 2,061 Posted August 16, 2015 On a list of coaches he's right up there, top 2. Firing him would be the dumbest move ever and Kraft knows that.

PATSSOX 22 Posted November 24, 2016 You guys are quoting posts 2 years old. Hahaha However I saw one said not Welker cost them another. How about Welker cost them the Super Bowl when he couldn't catch simple out. Welker was great but his drop cost them what would be #5 now
pee-diddy 27 Posted November 24, 2016 Like him as a coach but I will say it seems like BB lets his foolish pride get in the way of keeping talent or benching/starting talent or signing other talent. Also think he is a closet racist.

Sad. if not for TB saving his ass time and time again for terrible drafts, he would have been canned long ago. Yes he is a great coach, he is a terrible GM. A $1M starting QB and not much to speak of for OL, WR, or TE. $51M in cap space next year (4th most in the league). Highest draft pick since 2008. They'll be back in the playoffs next year... as long as they don't get rid of Belichick. If Brady hadn't made them get rid of Jimmy G they would have been a playoff team this year. dogcows 1,030 Posted December 30, 2020 The dynasty is over. Brady was propping up Bill all these years and making him look a lot more like a genius than he actually is. His shtick of being rude during interviews worked when he was winning. Now it makes him looks desperate and pathetic.

LoOnAtIk 75 Posted December 30, 2020 I feel like this year Brady and Belicheck made it pretty obvious that they’re both VERY GOOD at what they do. The Patriots roster is a dumpster fire with literally no talent anywhere. The 45-0 trouncing of the Chargers was an eye opener for me. Belicheck took Anthony Lynn’s lunch money. Separately Brady will definitely never win another one. Belichick will need a franchise QB to win another....just like 99% of SB winning teams.
