purplengold47 29 Posted September 15, 2015 I'm 0-1 but moving on, what u guys think? leaning balty right now, dropping jets. Balty @ Oak NO vs Tampa Det @ Minny Tenn @ Cleve
Mike Nice 40 Posted September 15, 2015 Yea baltimore is a solid choice vs raiders who may not have D Carr
The Hot Mess Express 0 Posted September 15, 2015 I'm sure not a popular choice but I'm digging KC at home vs den. Mannings oline is poopsalad and that KC d got its swagg back.
Frozenbeernuts 2,294 Posted September 15, 2015 Carr is supposed to play. I think Balts D is the same whether they play or not.
DontPushMe 5 Posted September 15, 2015 Planning to grab det vs Minny. Carolina worked great vs jax. Prob holding them for 3 weeks for the TB matchup.
GornFishin' 57 Posted September 15, 2015 Have Balt D and was a little worried v Broncos. But they came through. They've lost Suggs but not dropping them vs Raiders.

DontPushMe 5 Posted September 15, 2015 Hold onto Carolina or pick up: Detroit @ Minny Indy vs Jets Arizona @ Chicago ? Don't like Carolina this week but I love them week 4 and if you drop them you won't get them back for week 4. For me Detroit is the best option. Minn looked absolutely lost. giraldi02 476 Posted September 15, 2015 I'd be careful writing off Minnesota just because of their first game of the season. What exactly did Detroit do on defense that was so profound that anyone's confident of starting them?Minnesota had to travel across country, play a prime-time game on the west coast that was 2 hours later than normal night games, and had their entire offensive scheme change from what they worked on in the preseason ( a key reason why I feel AP should've played a bit). I think taking Detroit is the very definition of one-sided recency bias.
DaBeerz 88 Posted September 16, 2015 Carolina against Houston? Yes please.
Voltaire 5,389 Posted September 16, 2015 I didn't like Baltimore against the Broncos so I picked up Cleveland to cover for me since they had the Jets... eh... bad decision. Well, it's week two, Baltimore is still on my roster and despite losing Suggs, I like that Oakland matchup. As for your list... you may want to look into Tennessee. They've been bad for years, undraftable waiver fodder, but what we learned week one is they can handle clueless young QBs and score you some points. That should carry over for them in week two when they take on what may be the worst offense ever assembled in my lifetime (43 y/o).
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted September 16, 2015 Detroit's D was horrendous against the Chargers in the second half, and if Levy isn't back for week two I wouldn't want any part of them.

I think taking Detroit is the very definition of one-sided recency bias. 1. Detroit was a top 10 fantasy D last year. 2. Minny was a top 10 matchup for fantasy defenses last year. 3. Detroit, like SF, can stop the run. Teddy Bridgewater is not going to beat you. On the flip side, the loss of Suh (and now possibly Levy for Week 2) is impactful as well as Minny playing at home this week. But I think the "hype" stems from data going back to last year. Like most, I don't base all my decisions on the first week of the new season. I'm not saying Detroit is a safe, strong play, but the potential for a solid week is there. Byrdman5 112 Posted September 16, 2015 Balt D. I think Tenn and Clev is a trap. And Cleveland will play better than ppl think but still lose how do I get emojis
montana 89 Posted September 16, 2015 Yea baltimore is a solid choice vs raiders who may not have D Carr Nor their 2 starting corners. Might give Baltimore a chance to get up big & take more chances on the D

KC Defense at home vs that Denver Anyone anyone As a KC homer local sports talk is buzzing about this game and if you're a believer that the home crowd can help their defense then this game must be considered.Tailgating is going to start very early,it's the home opener on National TV,it's against not just a hated division rival but a rival that has had KC's number for years.Arrowhead is going to be rocking tomorrow night and from everything I've read and listened to this KC team is fired up and knows it's time for a changing of the guard. All that said I'm nervous as hell.
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 16, 2015 Balt D. I think Tenn and Clev is a trap. And Cleveland will play better than ppl think but still lose how do I get emojis Possible, but something else to consider Lebeau is Tennessee's Defensive Coordinator formerly with Pitt. He's very familiar with the Browns.
rallo 136 Posted September 16, 2015 i'm rolling with Det over Minny... Bridgewater looks lost out there... couldn't make a throw to save his life. AP didn't look ready either. Could be another big game for the lions D
Mike Nice 40 Posted September 16, 2015 I think denver comes out of fire thursday night after the sunday showing.
We Tigers 71 Posted September 16, 2015 I like Tennessee a lot more than most this week. They produced 4 sacks and 2 INTs against Winston last week, and I don't think Manziel will do any better. I like New Orleans vs Tampa less, because they produced all of 1 sack against a questionable Arizona line. Still, with the saints favored by double digits, they could be a decent pick if your wire is thin.

iam90sbaby 2,719 Posted September 16, 2015 I'm playing the Saints not because they are good, but because I know Winston giving the ball up at least twice and just hoping one goes for six.

stonewall 647 Posted September 17, 2015 SF at Pitt. That D looked nasty the other night, and Big Ben is still without Bell and Bryant.
cyclone24 1,934 Posted September 17, 2015 Ugg I'm in a good bind I guess. Guy in our league dropped the Bills, another guy dropped the Broncos. I snared the Bills and want the Broncos (collectively they have a nice schedule) but they don't have great match ups this week though.
American Chewy 98 Posted September 17, 2015 Bills were dropped in my league too. I'm not going to overbid on them, but I wouldn't mind a lesser week this week so i could have them going forward.

rallo 136 Posted September 17, 2015 When exactly was their last "big game"? you don't think 2 sack, 2ints, 1 fum rec and 1Def TD is a big game?
nzoner 937 Posted September 17, 2015 Just my .02 but I'm really glad my big money league requires that we draft and keep 2 D/ST on our rosters at all times.
