**The Walking Dead Season 6 Thread**

Recommended Posts

Watched all the way through the credits: they had no secret scene :dunno:

It was in the first commercial break of Into the Badlands which was on right after TWD.

The problem with the show is they do a bad job of making likeable characters besides Rick, Michonne, Carol, Daryl and Glenn. All the supporting cast are sniveling pansies who need to either get with the program or get lost. Dumb little whiny kids piss me off, thank god Carl has balls.

One thing that always bothers me about the show is that the zombies always shuffle their feet, so when they're walking through the woods, they should be tripping on roots and shįt, but all the sudden they're graceful ballerinas hopping over obstacles like nothing when they should be tripping all over themselves everytime they come across a curb.

There are so many ways I can think of to round them up by the thousands. Loudspeakers in a stadium? Anything that makes noise can lure them in droves so it wouldn't be that hard.

You are up high in a big truck and a motorcycle gang is blocking the road. A bunch of people have been shooting you. Why do you even slow down? Hunch down and hit the gas and run down the bikes. Not a great plan but better than the probable alternative.

I wanted to see Abraham go back to the truck and grab the RPG and be like, "Instead of you taking all of our sh!t, how bout I blast your asses with this instead. Your choice." THAT would've been a great way to end the season.

Well, now that we got a 2 month break, and we can all agree that it was a very weak mid finale at best. Lets do something different, and talk about something we like.

What is your favorite episode to date?

For me its still the mid season finale when Sophia came out o our f the barn. I think it was season 2?

It wasn't so much that they found her, but the rant that Shane went on right before that. I thought it was absolutely brilliant, then everyone just starts to open fire. Awesome. Sophia was just the icing on the cake for me.

My top 2:

1. Season 4, episode 5. Everyone in the prison was sick and Hershel did his best to save everyone. Also, when Rick and Carl had to protect the prison against the walkers who broke through the fence. Carl became more bad-ass in that episode.

2. The season 4 finale. Watching Rick rip that guy's jugular out and then slaughter the dude who was gonna rape Carl. Awesome focking scene.

Oh its going to be a great finish to this season and next season should be a high point in the series if they do it right.

I agree. I think they might hold off Negan until the finale though. They might show him, or talk about him. But the juicy stuff will be next year. Starting next season, I'm not sure the show will ever be slow again.

Maybe I was being ironic?

Being ironic has been jumping one huge shark for the last...how long have hipsters been a thing?

10-15 years for the most part.

I love how hope springs eternal with this show. Yep, they're about to start getting it right, even though the first focking scene of the new plot line involved stopping a big bulk truck because there were motorcycles in the road.

That was weird. The shoot first ask questions last, ultra xenophobic group sees an armed, nefarious looking motorcycle gang blocking a wide open stretch of road. They have weapons including a rocket launcher, and they decide, "Fock it. Let's just drive right up to them and see what they want."

Boy they're really doubling down on the unrealistic. They almost lost me this episode, time to bring it back a bit

Sometimes, it's best to remind yourself that it's based on a comic.

Really enjoyed this episode, they fit a lot into one hour. Once in awhile, it's nice to see the gang go hulk on some zombies; reminds you why they survived thus far.

Good point but I hate comics. Until recently I never had to confront the fact that this show came from a silly comic book

Nothing silly about it. It's even darker toned and grim than the show.

Great episode and good segue to the next storyline which should be the most compelling of the season.

Holy. Sheet. Great episode, my only complaint is the scene where Abraham and Sasha saved Glenn. Not one of those bullets somehow hits him? Glenn might be the luckiest motherfocker on Earth. Escapes certain death numerous times AND bagged Maggie? Luckiest pizza boy alive.

And good riddance to the Anderson family. Jessie was pretty hawt but her dipsh!t sons derserved to be eaten long ago

Also, Daryl :pointstosky:

Thought it was dumb both cliffhangers were resolved right at the beginning.

Daryl blows up the bikers after a fight just a few feet away that none of them heard.

The stupid kid who was going to get the group killed by talking just stopped. No one had to quiet him down. The biggest part of the scene from the previous show was that he was going to draw attention. It's like the writers forgot that part. Then of course he does it again later.

Glens nine lives run out next year. I'd almost guarantee it. They just haven't gotten to that part of the comics yet.

Thanks for the spoilers, comic book dork

The beginning scene was cool but unrealistic. No one heard the scuffle behind the truck? No one saw Daryl lining up his rocket shot? No rocket, just an explosion?

They often zig where the book zags so it's not a true spoiler.

That was unrealistic.

Glenn gets saved by a hail of automatic gunfire and somehow nothing hits him? While completely surrounded by zombies requiring a head shot each? Completely unrealistic.

Rick goes out and takes on the whole zombie hoard by himself. They politely come at him only one at a time. Rick never gets tired or wears down despite the extreme physical exertion. Ditto for all the heretofore completely useless townspeople who now suddenly can destroy an entire zombie hored in hand to hand combat.

Carl gets shot in the eye but somehow this doesn't go through to his brain? I guess the kid was wielding a BB gun or something?

The whole episode was focking absurd. Entertaining, yes, but getting dangerously close to just plain silly.

It's a show that has the living dead eating people

I know right, people claim that the show is silly or way unrealistic, never stop to complain about the fact they are watching a zombie apocalypse show, which is apparently filled with realism
