nobody 2,687 Posted February 18, 2016 I know right, people claim that the show is silly or way unrealistic, never stop to complain about the fact they are watching a zombie apocalypse show, which is apparently filled with realism That's not the issue. The way stuff like this works is the writers set the universe, and the characters and action need to conform to the constraints on that universe. This universe is exactly like ours except that dead people come back and start eating your face off unless they suffer a brain injury. That's the universe. They spent the whole 1st season setting those rules. When the rules are violated it focks up the story. So we watch all series and the zombies are slow and stupid. If they all the sudden show up fast and smart or Glenn starts flying or weird sh¡t happens that defy the laws of physics, people are going to be scratching their head because what's to stop the writers from just ding whatever they want and changing the laws of the universe they created on the fly. If a big fire does it then a stadium with loudspeakers would absolutely round them up. Then blow it up with a bomb or just another bonfire. Wouldn't take more than a year to clear the country really. I'm. Ore curious what's happening in China or remote areas. The real problem is the "everyone is already infected" angle. Makes it seem biblical or magical in nature. Albeit in a small part. Andrew Lincoln said in a recent interview that he had trouble sleeping just after reading the script for the season finale. If I'm not mistaken the comic is still going on right? The directors have already said that they already have more then enough material to go for 10 or more seasons. Yes the comic is still going. 10 seasons is a stretch tho, but then again they are still making them. Another crime gets commited and cops solve it. Another mystery happens and it gets solved. The zombies are supposed to be a backdrop to the human nature stories in front. Yeah, you have to suspend disbelief for both, but The Walking Dead is getting harder and harder to do so. At least the Last ship Keep trying. I get the feeling that the writers of The Walking Dead Have stopped doing that long ago. I am NOT expecting a documentary out of a zombie show, but Jesus f***. Not meant to be analyzed too deeply as after the first season there has been no attempt to research or crack the code. I'm aware that he meant that. I just don't think that's the case. Anything is possible but I doubt they will give us any explanation. I keep up with the comic so in the event they somehow shed some light on it, then we will know what to expect. But Again I don't see the gravy train stopping for this franchise just yet.
