Major Attack on Vegas Strip, 58 dead, 500 wounded

Recommended Posts

Please do, and compare it to lives lost daily because of guns.

Not to mention, in virtually all of those cases, they need saving because some other jackass has a gun.

That's fine, but you should also show how many murders are prevented by guns. Not saying it is some earth shattering number, but you would have to deduct them from the amount killed. Just sayin.

How does one determine number of murders prevented by gun?

This pretty much sums of the cause of and solution to the problem... Stop blaming the object and start addressing the real issue.

I admit hard to define, but there are some clear cut occurrences. For instance, when a cop or anyone shoots an armed thug. Count them. Police reports of self defense carried out by citizens. Count them.

The blacks who make up more than 50% of those homicides are around 3% of the population. And most of those are black on black murders. So yeah if you remove one race from our stats that number drastically reduces. It's also the same for education except we rise to top 5.

But as youve already seen pointing out these 100% true facts makes you a racist.

OK, cut the homicide rate in half. How does it compare to other countries then?

For one its true.

For another, at that time, black people were legally slaves and only white male property owners could vote.

The constitution can be changed, and has many times. Its long past time we correct the second amendment mistake. The founders were great men, but they made some mistakes. I have no doubt they would agree at this point.

This.

This.

The founding fathers were smart guys. If they had intended for the Constitution to ever be changed they would have built in some way to do that.

The founding fathers wore wigs, rode around on horses and crapped outside in buckets. I think you might be giving them a little too much credit.

walmart is out of ammo today.

Mass shootings are good for business. Fear of tighter gun laws are good for business.

Here's a little tidbit you might find interesting:

Actually, I find it more interesting that you did not even bother checking whether any of it was true before you cut-and-pasted this drivel.

The Amendment both addresses a citizen military AND the right of the individual to possess weapons.

SO NO. You will NOT repeal.

Sorry. Not going to happen. You will not impact the murder rate, the rest of the world has already proven that, and it's been posted (though not without a dishonest attempt to claim otherwise that was quickly rebuffed).

You wont get anywhere with these guys trust me. The only liberal on this board with any gun sense is MD.

Please do, and compare it to lives lost daily because of guns.

And then you can compare it to the lives lost daily because of cars, and make an equally useless point.

And you wore z.cavaricci's and hats with upturned brims, and we...

...no. You're right. We don't give you credit either.

And that's not the SCOTUS.

Well - for one - Brazil demonstrates that strict gun control and murder rates are not correlated.

https://newstalk1130.iheart.com/featured/common-sense-central/content/2017-10-03-a-brazilian-caller-exposes-liberal-gun-control-fallacies/

Gun sales have gone up something like 56% in the last 15 years, and yet we're 94th on the murders/capita metric.

So it appears as though increased guns isn't correlating to increased gun deaths.

I'm a progressive, not a liberal!

Don't touch my guns though. I need them to protect my family and all the hippy liberals in my neighborhood.

And how do you or he propose that "we stand together as ONE"?

I have a way: you'll choose to fully agree with me on everything.

How come when that black Muslim man shot up a church the week before last there was no outcry for gun control?

Never mind that access to guns is only considered a right in the Constitution for a well regulated militia.

Uh, no. See, that's why the Amendment contains two distinctly different thoughts, separated by things called punctuation.

And also why people always carried sidearms when there were no militia gatherings in sight.

Can anybody figure out where that lunatic menstrual mind thinks I said anything about the gays in the above post?

Geez, I hope the closet he's in is at least padded.

You should add a couple of additional descriptors there for me, wiff. You don't sound like you've even convinced yourself there.

Anyone and everyone knows what you meant by claiming that you thought you had it "'all figured out' (Mandalay - 'nuff said)".

You meant Mandalay Gay, and you meant that you had figured some "right wing anti-gay gun nut" had attacked it 'cuz...ya know...gay.

And then you saw it was a country concert, and your pre-packaged narrative TV dinner suddenly didn't taste so good, and you were absolutely crippled to come up with a better version that fit what it it you were here to sputter about.

Everyone knows it. I do enjoy watching you try to claim otherwise, especially after you spent the better part of two pages claiming that you didn't even write "Mandalay".

I have been back long enough to figure out what other posters think of you, wiff. Please do add some additional layers.

I would like links to both of these claims. Let's see how far into the mud you have to get to produce them. Something like rawstory, perhaps? Could you aspire?

Still waiting for wiff to support the ridiculous Rehnquist and Thomas claims.

Or anything, for that matter.

Would it be an example of 'standing together as ONE!!' If the solutions stood at loggerheads with one another?

Go ahead: produce a solution.

http://yournewswire.com/las-vegas-video-multiple-shootes/

Also posted in the conspiracy thread but just simply watch the first clip and any moron can see the fire is coming from the 4th floor. Or at least far below 32. This is busted wide open.

Be very careful, tanatastic: the Thought Police are here to shut down that sort of speculation.

It's very obvious that there is some extremely compelling evidence available that absolutely contradicts the claims of this massacre.

And none of them are willing to consider it; only deride those that do.

I can't tell if it's gunfire or a reflection of twinkling lights.

Two different people video'd that from two different perspectives; the second one from a moving car - showing the muzzle flash remaining static.

It's not a reflection. As for twinkling lights, it's hard to consider that, since it syncs with the gunfire according to the videographers, but it's certainly possible.

How does a gun fire bullets through a closed window without breaking it?

Good point

If only it was possible to either open windows or somehow cut out an opening in them. Alas, thats impossible.

It doesn't.

You've inspected the window? For cut holes, for recent replacement?

For anything? Or for a vent in the area where the flashes emanate?

Me either. We're speculating. Speculation is just that: it doesn't require all the answers, because only perpetrators have those.

The windows don't open at that hotel.

I have common sense to know that if that window was replaced after the shooting it is likely someone would have seen that take place with all the people around. How do you explain the light blinking WHEN NO SHOTS WERE BEING FIRED?

Donno, how will you explain the dozens of videos showing he facts not lining up that have already come out and will continue to come out? I know people who know people who were there and saw the shots coming from lower, others who heard them. 32nd floor is high as hell, its noticeable if its coming from lower as well.
