Jesus Chrysler 29 Posted October 3, 2017 So let me just understand.. are you saying that no matter what, proof, video, testimony etc, you will ONLY believe a story if its reported officially by cnn, Fox etc? Thats what you are saying? Im just trying to be clear here. there hasn't been a single shred of proof. Show me a broken window on the fourth floor. Show me one police officer who says there were shots from the 4th floor. All I've seen are some camera angles that show flashes in a fourth-floor window. Which was quickly followed by a video of flashes from a fourth-floor window long before this weekend.
MDC 7,471 Posted October 3, 2017 You gotta be kidding me. All you DO is attack me and you've got the temerity to cluck about someone 'slapfighting'? And you have Forty Eight THOUSAND posts. Get REAL kid. Â Â I would love to spend zero time on you. I gave you a chance to grow up; you refused. You can be ignored now, and permanently. Â If you don't like my posts, don't read them. You seem to have 48 thousand this week, most of them in a GFIAFP type string of 5-6 at a time, all of them slapfighting. Remember how you said you grew up? Thornton Melon 622 Posted October 4, 2017 &heymikefixthisfockingboard; Â A shotgun is better imo. Â 1) racking the pump will generally scare someone away, before they even get inside. 2) It's easier to hit your target in a low light area. 3) You don't need to worry about projectiles going through a window/door and unintentionally injuring an innocent party. &heymikefixthisfockingboard;Â Noted. However, a shotgun might not be the best option for a more petite/frail member of the household. An AR15 can be handled better. And you can minimize wall penetration with the right loads. Either one is a good option, though.
KSB2424 3,148 Posted October 4, 2017 &thisboardsucks;&thisboardsucks; Â Semi-auto, yes. An AR-15 is a very good home defense weapon But is it needed? The answer is no

KSB2424 3,148 Posted October 4, 2017 I grew up in rural NC going dove hunting shooting a 20 gauge at 9 years old. Â I fail to see the need for semi automatic weapons for public consumption. Let alone special permits for fully automatic. Â Its just not needed for the average citizen to protect yourself, hunt, etc. Â Shotguns, most rifles, a good number of handguns all do the trick. Its where the line should be drawn in my opinion between whats military and whats public. Between whats safest for a 21st Century modern society while balancing individual rights. KSB2424 3,148 Posted October 4, 2017 I wonder what our Founding Fathers would say about 3D printers and making your own grenades at home? Â I mean, spin it forward to the future. Our founding fathers set valuable bedrock foundations. But they didnt have time machines. We need to understand the principle they created but weigh it in modern times. mobb_deep 920 Posted October 4, 2017 Just saying there are other non-semi auto guns one can use for self and Home defense. Of course there are. I dont personally own an AR, but I also dont see why I shouldnt have the right to own one, if I wanted to. Ive earned that right, as a law abiding citizen. KSB2424 3,148 Posted October 4, 2017 Anything that defies basic common sense. Tank, stealth fighter, nuke, etc.Well sure, I think 99.9 % agree there, I talking further down the line. Â Draw a horizontal line with one side being nukes and the other side being a full ban on all weapons. Â Nukes to tanks to rpgs to fully auto to semi auto to standard shotgun to revolver to you see my point on down the line. Â You dont at least stop after fully automatic guns? Hardcore troubadour 15,484 Posted October 4, 2017 This is a weird one this time. Millionaire living the good life, flying planes, going to Dubai etc starts buying up all sorts of high end weapons and plans out an act like this? They say he had no on line presence, but he is 64, so thats not unusual. I await to hear the motive, but if they say he just snapped I'm calling BS on that. There is a reason behind this.
