Recommended Posts

Gun stocks going up

Yup these attacks drive gun sales. If big firearm is smart they would orchestrate these attacks personally.

All the current formatting issues provide an amazing bug - I can't "View It Anyway" on ignored users. That's nice.As fun as it used to be, I have better uses of my time.

You took the time to ignore someone only to view their responses anyway?

Cool buddy.

A killer of a concert.

I don't like Cuntry, so I can't really comment.

I love living in a country where a shooter's access to guns can be considered a "right", but medical treatment for the victims of the carnage they inflict is merely "privilege".

Never mind that access to guns is only considered a right in the Constitution for a well regulated militia.

 That old gag.

For one its true.

For another, at that time, black people were legally slaves and only white male property owners could vote.

The constitution can be changed, and has many times. Its long past time we correct the second amendment mistake. The founders were great men, but they made some mistakes. I have no doubt they would agree at this point.

SCOTUS has ruled that the 2A is an individual right. Case closed.

You can change the constitution if you want but it won't stop with the 2nd. Be careful what you wish for.

Yup, the original gag, the good old Constitution.

That argument has been tried here before. It fails every time.

Thought I had this one all figured out (Mandalay - nuff said),

So now I'm done flummoxed.

Can anybody figure out where that lunatic menstrual mind thinks I said anything about the gays in the above post?

Supreme Court has changed over the years. Perhaps it's time for a new ruling.

Yeah, got to love the guys who think the Constitution is this sacrosanct document carved in Forever Stone. Let's try telling that to the 3/5 of a man the black guys are. Or the women. Or the multiple amendments, or the...

Read up sometime on Justice rehnquist. He was a massive drug addict while he was serving. He actually had waking dreams of the CIA standing outside his door. He had to be hospitalized in Europe for his addictions. And he missed so much Court time it wasn't even funny. Yet, he continued two render his opinion In Absentia. Just read about that one guy alone and then come and talk to me about how the Supreme Court is this perfect sacrosanct body of august , perfect gentle men and women.

Or the fact that it's a running joke that Clarence Thomas hasn't asked a single question from the bench in something like two dozen years.

That's an institution that needs a fresh look and a kick in the ass.

The fact that the SCOTUS ruled it as an individual right was a change to the constitution so that boat already sailed. Best to get It right this time with a new interpretation, preferably one that returns it back to the original meaning or an amendment that accomplishes something similar.

I guess that settles it. We need to change the constitution so we can do away with the 2A & the supreme court. Then there will be no more gun violence in America.

Frankly, that amendment was written at a time when there was no standing military and there was a constant local Indian threat.

Seeing as how we now have more military power than the rest of the world combined, Id say its time we repeal it altogether.

Get it to something sane. Hunting guns only with a license. Ammo has to be accounted for. Can get a license to carry a pistol if you show need. The others? Scrap heap.

And the penalty for breaking those laws would need to be stiff.

No issues with any of that. If enforcement is carried out with anything close to the same vigor that was applied on the war drugs, a.k.a. operation lock up the minorities, then I have no doubt that common sense gun control can be achieved.

jeezus

Left pick a ###### agenda and go with it.

Either cops and govt is crooked and we need guns as a civil right, cause we can't trust the cops who are killing blacks for sport. Or

Cops and military (govt) are the only ones who can have guns (but wait they are crooked)

you can't have both

Glad it turned out not to be the Bernie Bro in my earlier post pulling the trigger (although it looks as if the missing woman shares his name so there may still be a connection). I don't think this country could handle the fallout from a politically motivated attack of this scale. If it had been a Muslim or a Nazi behind this attack it would have started a civil war. Hopefully the hateful bastards on both sides can find some common ground and work on mending the wounds our country is currently dealing with.

And lol at the anti-gun nuts. Typical liberal mentality. Guns are bad if a white guy is pulling the trigger. Hope that strategy works out this time.

Is there a stereotype of who stays at the Mandalay Bay Hotel? I've seen it referenced here and would like some clarification. Vegas has gone through quite a bit of transformation since I've been there last, but Mandalay USED to be one of the nicer hotels.

Used to be, but now is upper middle. Probably 10 years from the wrecking ball before Sunday, my guess is that time frame will be moved up.

Ah, if only.

Except that your complaint is a red herring. Illegal gun possession charges are thrown out in our judicial system on the regular.

Here is just one story about it in just one county - albeit important (Cook County, IL):

http://chicagoreporter.com/thousands-felony-gun-cases-are-being-dismissed-cook-county-criminal-courts/

So, as you can plainly see, the problem isn't law enforcement. They confiscate illegal guns every day, by the bushel.

The problem is the leftist judiciary who throws the charge out.

I would like links to both of these claims. Let's see how far into the mud you have to get to produce them. Something like rawstory, perhaps? Could you aspire?

The Amendment both addresses a citizen military AND the right of the individual to possess weapons.

SO NO. You will NOT repeal.

Sorry. Not going to happen. You will not impact the murder rate, the rest of the world has already proven that, and it's been posted (though not without a dishonest attempt to claim otherwise that was quickly rebuffed).

Here's a little tidbit you might find interesting:

In 1865 a Democrat shot and killed Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States.

In 1881 a left wing radical Democrat shot James Garfield, President of the United States who later died from the wound.

In 1963 a radical left wing socialist shot and killed John F. Kennedy, President of the United States.

In 1975 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at Gerald Ford, President of the United States.

In 1983 a registered Democrat shot and wounded Ronald Reagan, President of the United States.

In 1984 James Hubert, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 22 people in a McDonalds restaurant.

In 1986 Patrick Sherrill, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 15 people in an Oklahoma post office.

In 1990 James Pough, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 10 people at a GMAC office.

In 1991 George Hennard, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 23 people in a Luby's cafeteria.

In 1995 James Daniel Simpson, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 5 coworkers in a Texas laboratory.

In 1999 Larry Asbrook, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 8 people at a church service.

In 2001 a left wing radical Democrat fired shots at the White House in a failed attempt to kill George W. Bush, President of the US.

In 2003 Douglas Williams, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people at a Lockheed Martin plant.

In 2007 a registered Democrat named Seung - Hui Cho, shot and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech.

In 2009, a left wing radical Islamic sympathizer Major Nidal Hasan fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others on Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas. The shooting produced more casualties than any other on an American military base.

In 2010 a mentally ill registered Democrat named Jared Lee Loughner, shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in the head thus wounding her for life.

In 2011 a registered Democrat named James Holmes, went into a movie theater and shot and killed 12 people.

In 2012 Andrew Engeldinger, a disgruntled Democrat, shot and killed 7 people in Minneapolis.

In 2013 a registered Democrat named Adam Lanza, shot and killed 26 people in a school.

In Sept 2013, an angry Democrat shot 12 at a Navy ship yard.

In 2016 a registered Muslim Democrat murdered 49 people in an Orlando night club.

One could go on, but you get the point, even if the media does nothing.

Clearly, there is a problem with Democrats and guns.

Not one NRA member, Tea Party member, or Republican conservative was involved in these shootings and murders.

Oh Im well aware that it will never happen. Playing GI Joe is more important than peoples lives.

And if your really think a lack of guns doesnt make a country far safer, well, thats just dumb.

No you're not. I could literally post daily about how a person having a gun saved them. You focus on one incident like this but guns save people constantly.

Please do, and compare it to lives lost daily because of guns.
