Djgb13 2,338 Posted November 13, 2017 Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams walking around swaying topside is enough for an Oscar IMO. Even that couldn't save it. I almost fell asleep in the theater. I NEVER do that. That movie was that bad.
wiffleball 4,680 Posted November 13, 2017 This year alone, I'd have to say The Dark Tower. Huge hype, big budget, absolutely died. As a genre, everybody thought the R-rated comedy was back. Not so much. As a franchise, seriously don't get any of the love for any of the Lego movies. And how f****** much did they have to pay Sir Patrick Stewart to play poop in the Emoji Movie? wiffleball 4,680 Posted November 13, 2017 Baby Driver. That guy had to be at least 20! Good choice. God all of Hollywood was falling all over themselves to promote that movie and afterward nobody really had much good to say about it. Wasn't Spacey in that too? I was excited about it and all the hype it was getting. That ruined me for listening to all these critic reviews. Haven't trusted them since

peenie 1,703 Posted November 13, 2017 LA LA Land Neither actor can dance or sing. The tune he kept playing was simplistic and boring. I love them as actors and as a screen couple. The story was decent but overrated.

The story was decent but overrated. That's what I heard. Saturday Night Live even did a skit about that and how you weren't supposed to admit that La La Land was just average at best.
