What concerts do you have coming up?

Recommended Posts

Just bought tickets for Peter Gabriel in October.  Happens to be on our anniversary - and "In Your Eyes" was our wedding song - so my wife didn't object.

:pointstosky:

My ass hurts from the usual Ticketbastard anal assault though.

I feel like the Midwest (outside of Chicago) is getting bypassed a lot for concert tours :(

Because there really isn't much there...

Now trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on seeing Between the Buried and Me in mid-July.

My son has seen them several times and says they put on a great show.  I really enjoy their musical ability, but the portions with "harsh vocals" is taking some gettng used to.  Small venue so only about $30, which is nothing compared to the money I've shelled out for other bands.  I would be seeing them solo vs traveling down to Portland to see with my son so I need to take that into consideration.

Anyone here fans of BTBAM?

Probably nobody here likes them or cares but I’m excited to see a 90s band called Unwound next week. :dunno:

Concerts?  Are you guys still in your early 20s?

Concerts keeps me young at heart, baby!

My back says "fock you buddy, you're old!" after standing for GA shows in small venues though.

I'm older and hate people now, so a concert is the LAST place I want to be.  :)

Just bought a ticket for Friday of Aftershock in October.  TOOL is the headliner that night. :pointstosky:

Megadeth and Coheed and Cambria are also on the bill, but don't know if they're playing the same stage.

Black Keys just announced and tickets go on sale Friday.  I'm going to see if I can get six with an artist presale, and then rape others on resale prices for four and use two.  Same venue Tyler Childers is currently going for about $300 apiece for on resale.

Yep, I scored 8 amazing seats for the Black Keys.  I currently have half of them on sale at stubhub, and if they sell will cover my cost for all eight.  Yeah, I became that guy

Are the resell seats next to yours?  If so you could be tempting karma as the folks could turn out to be obnoxious azzholes...

I've gotten into James McMurtry lately. Not a bad album in his discography. In fact, they're all pretty great. He's an incredible lyricist and a great guitar player.

I looked up his tour dates to see if he had any shows scheduled within driving distance.

Sure enough, he's playing right here in my city next month!

Tickets in hand.

Hopefully it will turn into a "Dear Penthouse Forum" situation instead of a "viral video of drunk concert goers starting a melee" situation.

Bought tickets this morning for me and the kids to see Dream Theater in July.  Devin Townsend and Animals as Leaders are also on the bill.

The Cure on 6/18.

Dude. You may have just picked out my gfs anniversary or birthday present. She loves the Cure. Your post made me check the tour schedule. We may go to the Atlanta show.

A sportsbook gave me tickets to see Taylor Swift in May, which I would have passed on except that my wife loves her.  And it’s in a suite so this will get me some serious credit.

For you punk guys

saw Teenage Bottlerocket last night in a small venue in Riverside. Took my gf who has never listened to punk and she loved it. One of the best shows I’ve been to

Billy (motha fockin) Strings :music_guitarred:

Not entirely my jam, but he certainly has a cult following and the tickets for two days in KC in October flew off artist presale today.  The two shows don't actually go on sale officially till tomorrow, but there won't really be anything left.

Talented fo sho.

I see he's coming to Seattle but of course Ticketbastard won't show prices until the sale begins.  Can you send me the artist presale code so I can how much they're going for?   If it's relatively inexpensive then I might grab a ticket.

Dillinger Four, Bob Mould and the Hold Steady labor day weekend at the MN state fair. That's a MPLS punk rock legends show. And no ticket Master bs, $45 tickets with like a$5 handling fee. Beautimous.
