Not exactly. The British takeover of India was a very gradual thing, mostly using native troops against each other, playing factions and petty kingdoms off of each other, exploiting divisions and rivalries and such. The French and Portugese were involved at first too.

That is actually a really amazing part of history to read. How an extremely small number of men took over and plundered a vast and teeming subcontinent.

The correlation between controlling our border and concentration camps follows Godwins Law.  You really hate to see it misused by political hacks like this, and it happens all over the place in all political groups.....so much so that at this point it is watered down to almost nothing.

Of course this is a false equivalency, but increasingly we see our youth not learning the critical thinking skills required to protect them from manipulation. so they fall for it....
