My parents didn't make me, the only few times I did it, was to wish they would die.

I was raised Catholic and remember kneeling and praying when I was young; I don't specifically recall my parents making me do it though.

The first time I called her, he lectured me on how to address him when he answered.

My wife does ask my kids if they’d like to say a prayer before bed.  They do so most of the time.

Same, but also made me go to church EVERY Sunday. 

I don’t go to church as an adult, and will never force my kids.

Yea I had to go to church every Sunday. Especially when my grandma was alive. Went to the Catholic Church in our town then. Even was an altar boy. After she died, we went to different churches. One had started at my uncles marriage chapel. However, the service kept getting longer every Sunday. First it was from 11-12. Then last til 12:30. Then 1 and eventually was getting out after 2. Kept complaining to my parents cause my stomach would be growling in church. Finally they had enough too and we went to the one we ended up staying at. Won’t ever put my kids through having to stay in church for over 3 hours.

My parents made us go to church every Sunday too. When we got old enough to drive, they said "you know where it is and have a car if you want to go." neither they, nor I, ever went back.

I wouldn't say they made me. When I was a little kid that was how they taught me to pray. The whole "now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep....." then add whatever I wanted at the end. It was never a requirement though.

They made me go to church on Sundays until I was like 13 or 14. After that it was up to me if I went or not. So I pretty much stopped going at that point. Now the only time I'm in a church is either for weddings or funerals.

  never had children but this would have been me as well.

Personally I was never made to pray but was around church and vacation bible school a lot growing up so it pretty much came natural.Of course when your grandfather is/was a pentecostal evangelist......
