This thread is 103 pages, so i felt i should post in it. I hate discussing politics on this site because it quickly turns into a pissing contest, the problem is this site has been dominated by politics for the past decade, however at this point I am too stubborn to leave.

 

If you want to know my opinion i think this is a stunt by the democrats and they should not have tried to impeach trump. This distracts america from real issues such as infrastructure spending, balancing the budget, etc.

However I also think that the president should not reach out to foreign powers for dirt on political rivals. Trump has done this a few times, not just with biden but when he was talking with Putin "sarcastically". I do not want foreign powers trying to influence the election in America.

 

We should take this information and use it in the next election whether that sways someone towards or away from voting for trump.

I don't get why this is "Winning" for anyone but Trump.  This is not beneficial to any of us.

I don't think his tax returns are going to lead to anything incriminating so I don't know why it's such a big deal to so many.  I do find it odd that Trump refuses to release them though.  I have it feeling there's something in them that he may be embarrassed about.

Usually my oddball posts are on days where I am frustrated with work. I had someone in upper management make a request to me back in April, and it does not make sense. So i just did not respond, I find this is a valid strategy. If they do not follow up then it was not that important for them.

 

Today they "responded" to their original request, which means I now need to do enough of the work to explain why their idea is a bad idea and also why i ignored their original request sent 6 months ago in a tactful manner.

 

So instead of doing that I am mostly surfing the internet and posting the occasional inane comment.
