The great thing about TDS and impeachment hysteria is that many Americans have been provided the opportunity to learn about how our government works.

For example, before muh Ukraine 2020, most people, like myself, assumed a transcript was a literal word for word copy of a conversation. Evidently, as it has been for the last 50 years, a transcript of a POTUS conversation is not actually word for word.

Now some people will say "hey, I learned something today" and others will say "literally Hitler! threat to democracy! peach mint!"

And while they do their standard hinting at Orange Man Bad, even they admit the Ukraine "transcript" is legit. It is worth the read just to understand the process of producing a "transcript" of a presidential phone call. There would be dozens of people in on it if this thing was faked. Ask yourself what are the odds of that?

Then today, McCain rat Volker testifies. Schiff restricts republican access to Volker. Schiff even interrupts his own lawyers because they are not getting the dirt/sound bytes he wants. Schiff gets another nothing burger. Volker testifies that there was no pressure put on Ukraine president. Volker disputes most of the accusations in the CIA/Lawfare Dossier.

I may dislike Mitch, but the guy knows how to play the game. He is watching Trump double down on 18 with the dealer showing a 10, he is watching the impeachment polls, and he is doing the math with an eye on the calendar.

Its pretty obvious that the Republican Senate, lead by Mitch the Biitch, will vote to remove Trump from office. They will announce that they were against Trump the entire time, but had to wait until the time was right before they swooped in and did what the Democrats couldn’t, saving America. They’ll announce they are the true Anti-Trump party, and their half of the country will buy it hook, line, and sinker. Ideally, Mitch will get it done by the end of the year with the hopes of getting a new candidate in there for next November, but the real goal is to hold the Senate. 
 

I applaud Mitch’s ability to play the game.

Now reports are he also tried to get China to intervene in the election for his benefit. May have suggested quid pro quo with staying silent on Hong Kong protests against China. And the White House tried to cover up that phone call as well just like the Ukraine one.

I would venture to say that’s actually entirely unprecedented, so far as I know
