(CNN) — A majority of Americans say they support House Democrats' move to start an impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, according to a Washington Post-Schar School poll released Tuesday. 

The inquiry, announced by the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, centers around Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after a whistleblower filed a complaint about the call. A transcript of the conversation released by the White House shows Trump repeatedly pushed Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. There is no evidence of wrongdoing by either Joe or Hunter Biden. 

Almost three-in-ten Republicans in the poll said they supported beginning an impeachment inquiry into the President, as well as 57% of independents, and 86% of Democrats.

Two-thirds of Americans think that Trump's phone call with the Ukrainian President was inappropriate, 43% very inappropriate, and 17% somewhat. Around a third said Trump's request was appropriate.

Another three-in-five Americans said that Trump doesn't uphold adequate standards for ethics in government.

The form was changed a month AFTER the whistleblower filed with 2nd and 3rd hand knowledge and the I.G. back dated that change for one reason; to launch this impeachment inquiry.

Follow up question: Why did Adam Schiff have contact with the whistleblower prior to him filing his complaint?

And while I don't know the specific meeting of which you speak,  I have been in quite a few meetings recently where I received praise form the owner for a job well done. We are having immense success in the past year or so.  No, I am not a salesman. There are many moving parts to our success and I play a key role.  And still have time to bitchslap you when you come at me unprovoked.

This.  They are pulling out all the stops. Conspiracy theories left and right. The president admitted to the crimes.  First, he told George Stephanopoulos that he'd accept help from foreign countries. Then he went in private to try to seek it.  Then, when he got caught by the whistleblower, decided to do it for the whole world to see on the White House lawn.  With any normal congress and senate, this would be a slam dunk impeachment and removal from office.
